Momentive[edit]

Hello Shortride, I noticed that you merged the Momentive Performance Materials page to the Momentive page, can you do this for Momentive Specialty Chemicals too and/or let me know how to do it?

Thanks

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

BarretBonden (talk) 07:34, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I'm here to reiterate the same notes from above. Providing an edit summary is very helpful to other editors, especially on pages that are frequently vandalized. Many thanks! --Midnightdreary (talk) 15:20, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on LOULOU CANADA'S SHOPPING MAGAZINE, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 12:20, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughtful reminder[edit]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

Hopefully, you'll understand how helpful edit summaries are to other editors who watch multiple pages and protect them from vandalism. Lack of an edit summary is usually a red flag that something bad has happened. Please respect your fellow editors and make it easier on us! :) --Midnightdreary (talk) 04:21, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blatant violation of WP:MOSTM[edit]

On Template:Time Warner, there was the completely documented code:

''[[Wallpaper (magazine)|Wallpaper<!--"Wallpaper" per WP:MOSTM-->]]''

Despite WP:MOSTM you have deleted the tag and reinserted[1] the prohibited trademark as:

''[[Wallpaper (magazine)|Wallpaper*]]'

You can hardly claim any good faith for this violation and I can see from your talk page that you don't care for warnings so it's getting reported. 62.147.39.186 (talk) 19:02, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

50 largest US banks template[edit]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that I reverted some of the changes you made to {{50 largest US banks}}. While many of your edits are a definite improvement (such as changing the Discover link from Discover Financial Services LLC to Discover Financial, moving CIT Group Incorporated to CIT Group, etc.), I reverted your bypassing of the redirect links for the foreign-owned banks. As per the linking convention described in the template itself, this template links to the highest level American company regardless of if that company is owned by a foreign bank. Since Taunus Corporation, Utrecht-America Holdings, and Barclays Group US are the top American bank holding companies, they are linked on the list rather than their foreign parents of Deutsche Bank, Rabobank, or Barclays. While these three links are currently redirects (tagged as having possibilities), they could well be expanded into full articles of their own some day, in much the same way that HSBC Bank USA is its own article separate from its parent corporation HSBC. Please let me know if you have any questions or issues. Thanks, — Kralizec! (talk) 05:03, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

KERO-TV[edit]

Don't know why you changed KERO-TV to just KERO? According to the FCC, it needs to be KERO-TV.--JoeCool950 (talk) 20:57, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia guidelines, articles for licensed US broadcast stations should use their FCC-issued call signs as the article name. There are certain technical exceptions when disambiguation between two primary identifications is required but KERO-TV must be at KERO-TV, even if there is not currently a KERO in the database. I have reversed the moves you made and updated the template you recently created accordingly. - Dravecky (talk) 21:39, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MetaTV[edit]

'MetaTV" is not the same thing as 'TVWorks'. TVWorks was a joint venture, between Comcast and Cox, that purchased assets of MetaTV and assets from Liberate Technologies. A proper definition of TVWorks would refer to both MetaTV and Liberate entries. The redirection, therefore, is not a match. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jscarney7 (talkcontribs) 20:28, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would be interested in your input regarding the recent article move at Talk:Press-Telegram (Long Beach). Thanks, Alanraywiki (talk) 20:29, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nothern and Shell[edit]

Hi, I see that you have edited Northern and Shell template - shouldn't it be "Northern and Shell network" which is the overall company and then Northern and shell which is a subsidiary can have its publications on there as well as Portland TV - stuff like Television X and the Red hot channel? --Cameron Scott (talk) 08:36, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hjemmet Mortensen AB[edit]

A tag has been placed on Hjemmet Mortensen AB, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

there is no information about Hjemmet Mortensen in the article

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MarkusHagenlocher (talk) 11:25, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

50 largest US banks template[edit]

Regarding {{50 largest US banks}}, this is why I never bother doing this. Given the consolidation of that has been going on in the American banking sector over the past two or three decades, any institution that falls off the bottom of the list will reappear soon enough due to acquisitions and mergers at the top. — Kralizec! Schenley Industries[edit]

I think it's great you're adding info to Schenley Industries. I've been unable to find much history myself. What are your sources? I'd like to add citations. Rees11 (talk) 16:56, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
