If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Adam9007 (talk) 01:44, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cassell’s[edit]

Hello. I have noticed that you have expressed interest in creating an article about the business called Cassell’s Hamburgers. Good choice since plenty of people have published articles concerning the current business. However, if you like to write a more comprehensive and thorough article, I would suggest that you will need to find more information about the founder Al Cassell and his time operating the business and see how far back in time you can go by looking through the online newspaper article archives that your university library might have electronic access to. (Many universities subscribe to ProQuest.) The Los Angeles Times is a good resource to start with since all of their issues has been digitized, and you would only need to go back only 70 years or so. Cassell died in 2010, so you should have no problem finding his obituary in several online sources and use that as a starting point to work back from. It might be interest to read about what writers of that time thought of the place back in the 1950s and 1960s. Best of luck on your project -- 108.71.214.235 (talk) 06:06, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mel Schilling moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Mel Schilling, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
