June 2016[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give National Highway 10 (India) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. –Compassionate727 (T·C) 19:11, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Compassionate727: The user moved many a pages in that manner.--Vin09(talk) 05:42, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, yes. I'm going to revert all of them, please don't be alarmed when you log on and find you have 100 new notifications. –Compassionate727 (T·C) 12:00, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
To be clear, I don't have any problems with you moving those pages. But you can't copy and paste them. Apply {{db-move}} to the redirect in question and an admin will be along to take care of it shortly. Also, for future reference, you can move pages over redirects if there is only one revision in its history. –Compassionate727 (T·C) 12:10, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You created a false page National Highway 3 (India) on 7 May 2016[edit]

The old NH3 from Bombay to Agra ceased to exist. User Marlisco moved the page as it existed then to National Highway 3 (India, old numbering) on 14 November 2016. You again resurrected the old page and added misleading and false text to it. Old NH3 no longer exists. Do not add false text to NH pages. Rao Ravindra (talk) 12:24, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have added correct information on the route of new NH 3 (Atari on India-Pakistan border to Kullu and Manali). The Wikipedia page for the old NH 3 (Bombay-Agra road) is National Highway 3 (India, old numbering). Do not delete or redirect it. Rao Ravindra (talk) 16:18, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Mannam Ayurveda Co-operative Medical College, Pandalam has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

An alternative medicine organisation, with no remarkable achievement or coverage to merit an article on Wikipedia. Lacks significant coverage in third party media. Has a self published site as the only source. The sourcing does not rise to the standard set by WP:ORGCRIT. In addition, due to the nature of the organization, WP:FRINGE and WP:MEDRS are relevant, and there need to be strong sources than what is available to allow articles on this topic.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
