Bill C-16[edit]

On another note, you seem to know your way around the Parliament's site, so I was wondering if you could tell me where I could find the amendments that the Senate made to bill C-16. Thanks. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 03:44, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just wanted to let you know why I removed the statement you added to Dave Wilson's article in regards to the expense scandal. You should probaly take a look at the source provided as a reference, and you will see the very first sentence is: "Nova Scotia Liberal Leader Stephen McNeil says he doesn't know why one of his caucus members suddenly resigned." McNeil went on to mention about the auditor general meeting, and Wilson retaining a lawyer, but nowhere in the news article did he say anything about his belief as to the reason behind the resignation. I'm sure there is alot of speculation going on tonight about the reason behind the resignation, but until McNeil actually says something concrete as to a reason, such serious claims shouldn't be added to the article. Canadian Parliament Seat Totals[edit]

Hey there. Thanks for catching the fact that I'd missed updating the seat totals at Template:40th Canadian Parliament standings. Good to know someone's taking care of the details! AshleyMorton (talk) 00:07, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

McNeil and charges of nepotism[edit]

McNeil's record is clear. His connections in the RCMP, the local school board, and his comments on the provincial legislature all support his heavy and unjustice hand in the 'Gondek affair'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ngondek (talkcontribs) 04:48, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
