Eulonia, Georgia map[edit]

First message for 2006! Sorry to bother you, but Eulonia, Georgia (which I created a few months ago) needs a map and I was wondering if you were still "in this business"? Badagnani 02:52, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From looking at the history of this article (it's been renamed), it appears you wrote the line "The current merit badge system began in 1979;". What exactly did you mean by that? See articles talk page for more info. Pls leave answer there. You may want to read the FAC on Merit badge types (BSA), an article and FAC submission I started. Hi, Seth. A correspondent on the Help Desk mailing list sent us this: "This map is wrong! Oscoda is in Iosco County, and you have us in Alcona - Iosco is the one below it, and if you would put the red dot right on the first little lump that sticks out when you are going down it would be perfect. I'm sure if you look at another map you will see what I am talking about!"

Are you still in the map business? User:Zoe|(talk) 19:45, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Confederate politicians[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you made these lists of all of the members the CSA Congress. What I'm going to start doing is making bios, or at least bio stubs, for the blank ones, starting with the Senators. Just figured I'd let you know, and also if you have any comments or suggestions I'd love to hear them. Deville 01:39, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unused images[edit]

Hi Seth. A few months ago I compiled a list of all the unused images on Wikipedia. Looking over the statistics, you seem to have the user with the 4th largest number of orphaned images (231), most of them related to your map project. You can see a listing of the images here. Could any of these still be used in articles? If not, I'll probably just have them sent to WP:IFD for deletion. Coffee 04:00, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hartsel, CO[edit]

I was wondering how one goes about acquiring one of those dot maps? I would like to include one with my stub for Hartsel, CO. Heptapod 04:54, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Idea of an Encyclopedia[edit]

While everyone probably should read this book, I really don't like to see illegal content linked to from Wikipedia, especially on an admin's page. It may not be against the rules, but it does look bad. Just my 2 cents Wirewad 03:11, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Massachusetts space-filling maps[edit]

Seth, I'd just like to let you know that Massachusetts is all done - all 351 towns/cities now have a space-filled map in their Geography section (or in their infobox, if applicable). So you can update the status of Massachusetts to done. Woo! Petros63 01:40, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please look at this page[edit]

Images for deletion[edit]

The following images have been nominated for deletion because they are orphans. Please comment at WP:IFD. Thanks Nv8200p talk 12:55, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Scott Douglas Altman[edit]

Seth, I just saw in the history of that image: , that you have created it. Could I use it for the German aricle that I created yesterday, or may only the English wikipedia use this NASA copyright? Please answer me at my user talk. --Crout1 10:10, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't need it any more, now someone has uploaded a better image to the German Wikipedia. Bye.

Image copyright problem with Image:S2b-wc.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:S2b-wc.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Stan 05:36, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Surfside Beach, SC[edit]

Can you make a map with a red dot for Surfside Beach, SC? Jonathan Johnson 17:06, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Seth Ilys, I'd like to inform you that I've moved your Image * from en:Image:ILMap-doton-CrystalLake.PNG to commons:Image:ILMap-doton-CrystalLake.PNG. Sorry, I'm just a beginner, after a wrong redundant upload onto the German wickimedia I realized that it was wrong. I've marked both pictures now with the template "NowCommons". Who is going to erase them now?. --[[User:RSABB|--
