Robin Gibb[edit]

In your latest edits to the Robin Gibb wiki you seem to indicate that "Lonely Days" was a US #1 hit and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" was their 2nd US #1 hit which is factually incorrect. "Lonely Days" only reached #3 in US and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" was in fact Bee Gees very first US #1 hit. Ferdinandhudson (talk) 22:31, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cashbox really don't hold very much weight, the Bee Gees themselves refer to "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" as their first #1 in the US. Ferdinandhudson (talk) 00:30, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Evander Holyfield[edit]

Hi. I was just wondering why you removed the info about Dwight Muhammad Qawi being known as Dwight Braxton at the time of his first fight with Holyfield. If you check Holyfield's record, you'll see that the first fight is listed vs. Dwight Braxton (later known as Dwight Muhammad Qawi), whilst the second fight is vs. Dwight Muhammad Qawi (nee Dwight Braxton). Braxton converted to Islam, and changed his name during the time span between the two fights. I have fixed it. Please do not change it back. All the best-Mk5384 (talk) 17:06, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I stand corrected, and I apologise unreservedly. I have changed the Holyfield article to include the correct information that you have clarified.Mk5384 (talk) 19:46, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Igor Vysotsky has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Liston/Ali fights[edit]

All entries on the Liston/Ali fight have been reverted. The Sonny Liston autobiography by Paul Gallender is a self published book and not a reliable source. 98.209.42.117 (talk) 22:33, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
