I haven't been able to find much on the official/consensus Wikipedia policy regarding using images of press cuttings, but – Photoshop editing notwithstanding – as the content in question is only borderline contentious, I'm satisfied that the ones you have provided can be used in this case. If you haven't already done so, I'll add them as references. I should warn you, however, that another editor might question them, so if you can improve on them at a later date, so much the better.
