January 2015[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Abdul-Qadir Gilani has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Hello, Saudmujadidi. You have new messages at ClueBot Commons's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I see what you did there[edit]

I don't know if you have any sort of connection to MSOAMU but all the same, you're attempts to use Wikipedia as a propaganda vehicle for the Barelvi movement will fail. If you have any sincerity in regard to actually wanting to improve the encyclopedia, go read WP:IRS and WP:NPOV before randomly reverting without discussion again. If you continue the way you are now, then things will not end up well for you. MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:27, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Shah Turab ul Haq has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. - Anjana Larka 07:48, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dr. Masud Ahmed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of Khadim Hussain Rizvi[edit]

The article Khadim Hussain Rizvi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. April 2017[edit]

When you change a sentence like:

"Unlike most other Muslim movements in the region, the Barelvis opposed the Indian independence movement "

to:

"Unlike most other Muslim movements in the region, the Barelvis supported the Indian independence movement"

you need to provide more explanation than "Added few details". I noticed that some of what you changed had citations.

When you correct errors in Wikipedia, please provide explanations for why you are doing it: e.g. the source says.... There is an article talk page for each article that you can use to explain things on.-- Toddy1 (talk) 09:22, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Barelvi[edit]

Hi-- Some of your edits to Barelvi added properly sourced content, but they also removed or changed properly sourced content, which we are not allowed to do per WP:NPOV. According to this policy, when there is disagreement between reliable sources, all the views need to be represented proportionally. You're welcome to reincorporate the additional material in a policy-compliant way. However, please make sure the sources meet the criteria of WP:RS and are properly cited (WP:CITEHOW). In particular, book citations need to include page numbers. Eperoton (talk) 21:06, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Darul Uloom Amjadia[edit]

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Saudmujadidi, thanks for creating Darul Uloom Amjadia!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. "millions of Scholars" seems hyperbolic. Please stick to the facts and reference independent, reliable sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Saudmujadidi, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:20, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting in defense of unsourced material[edit]

Okay, this has gone on for long enough. You need to seriously step back from editing for a bit and take another look at site policies.

During the past week or so, most of your edits have been to the articles Akhtar Raza Khan, Bahishti Zewar, Abdul-Qadir Gilani, or Ashraf Ali Thanwi. All of your edits on those articles have been reverted by other editors due to two factors: you either insert unsourced material, or your insert contentious material with citations that consist only of names. On multiple occasions, other users have tried to explain to you (and not just in the past week) why that sort of editing is wrong. You haven't responding except in one case, and your response itself displayed a disregard for Wikipedia policy.
I'm sure that you're able of making valid and helpful contributions to Wikipedia, but you need to slow down and take some time to learn about how the site works. The Tea House (the place where you accused me of bullying before getting hit with the boomerang due to your COI, if you remember) can provide help in regard to learning the details of site policies and guidelines. If you choose to continue editing in the same way you've been, then you're highly likely to end up explaining yourself on the edit warring noticeboard. If you would just take a brief amount of time to edit uncontentious subjects, especially if you sought the help of a mentor, you'd likely find a much more positive reception to your efforts. Please think about all of this carefully. MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:33, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You check these mentioned pages again I have added citation on all & it seems you are only behind my edits 😁Saudmujadidi (talk) 04:21, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No, you haven't added citation on all of them upon further inspection.
  • On Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi, you just did the same exact thing that multiple users have warned you against: inserting highly contentious claims with only names as your "citation." I already recommended the above policies for you to review, so by now (especially after two years of these same problems), you should be aware that your edit was incorrect.
  • On Husayn ibn Ali, you insertded a photo into an article already crowded with photos, getting yourself reverted by an editor with a better understanding of WP:IG.
  • On Muhammad Ali Jinnah, you inserted some weird fringe claims sources with (again) a name and a sketchy source, getting yourself reverted by yet another editor concerned with reliability issues.
So I'm really not sure what you're referring to when you claim to "have added citation on all." My previous comments on your editing behavior still stand, and I still highly encourage you to seek a mentor before continuing. It's abundantly clear that you have a number of misunderstandings of site policy and basic framework, and as a result, your edits are merely creating more cleanup work for your fellow editors without positively contributing to the encyclopedia. Hammad Raza Khan moved to draftspace[edit]

Unfortunately, an article you recently created Hammad Raza Khan, is not ready as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage with citations from reliable and independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. I've moved your article to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption.
