Syed Mohammed Shah Kazmi[edit]

Your new article is very confusing.

  1. Kazmi lived from 1866 to 1951, yet the photo in the article shows a man somewhere between 30 and 50 years old, and so would have to been taken between 1890 and 1910, but the photo is clearly more recent than that, so it is very likely not a photo of Kazmi.
  2. Your article states that Kazmi entered university at the age of 3. Really???
  3. The reference you cite:
Qazmi, Shah. "Syed Mohammed Shah Kazmi Biography". Syed Shah Qazmi. 2nd. 30m3 (G.M Syed). Hyderabad: ETeam: 25. 654567875. nhvg {{cite journal}}: |access-date= requires |url= (help); |format= requires |url= (help)
cannot be properly identified. It is noted as a PDF file, but no URL is given. The name of the magazine is given as Syed Shah Qazmi: are we to believe there is an entire periodical magazine devoted to this individual?
  4. Other than being the father of G. M. Syed, your article makes no claim of any particular notability, so unless you can bolster the article with more facts, it is likely to be deleted.

A tag has been placed on Asim Jameel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Proposed deletion of Poonja Jinnah[edit]

The article Poonja Jinnah has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Notability is not inherited[edit]

Please understand one of Wikipedia's policies on notability: notability is not inherited. This means that a person is not notable merely for being the father of a notable person. I understand that in certain cultures, one's ancestors are quite important. A member of these cultures will often identify themselves by identifying their father and grandfather. But at Wikipedia, a person's notability derives from the availability of sources that cover that subject in extensive detail. Merely being the father of this politician or the grandfather of that poet is not sufficient. I'm glad you wish to help build this encyclopedia, and I'd hate to see you continuing to spend effort on pages that won't be kept. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:52, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page move[edit]

I have undone your move of Zechariah (priest) to Zakaria (priest). The English Wikipedia uses the most commonly used English spelling for article titles, and in English this person is known as Zechariah. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 01:05, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to Syed Mohammed Shah Kazmi, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 05:58, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

One more try[edit]

I'm going to try one last time to engage you in a discussion about your editing here at Wikipedia. With few exceptions, almost every one of your edits here has been undone, and every article you have tried to create has been or will soon be deleted. Multiple editors have warned you about this, both using Wikipedia's standard warning templates, and in direct contact as I am doing now.

You have insisted on creating articles about people who appear only to be notable because they were someone's father or mother or child. But you have been told multiple times that notability is not inherited. If you would click on that link and read the policy, what you would learn is that we don't include articles in Wikipedia about people solely because they were related to someone else. We require that the person have accomplished something of significance themselves, and that the accomplishments were of such note that independent sources wrote about them. I understand that in some parts of the world, a persons family is an important feature of their biography and of their identity. I believe that Pakistan would fall into this category (and, from your writing, I understand you to be from Pakistan), so I understand why you would wish to create these articles. But Wikipedia is not governed by Pakistani culture (or, in the ideal, but British or American culture either), so we don't use such cultural norms to decide which article will be included.

I would really encourage you to engage in the discussion here at your talk page so we can work through these issues in a collaborative manner. The alternative is to bring administrators into the process to prevent you from further disrupting the project. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:21, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Emibai Jinnah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PamD 13:38, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In this edit you removed a "Speedy deletion" tag from an article you had created yourself. Adding a "Hang on" tag before anyone else has proposed deletion is not useful, but shows that you realise that an article on a person which "does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject" is likely to be deleted. Being the cousin of someone famous is not sufficient to satisfy WP:NOTABLE, as has been explained to you above. Please stop wasting everyone's time in trying to add articles about people who are appear to be simply not of enough interest, as themselves, to be represented in the encyclopedia. If you have references in independent reliable sources which talk about these people as individuals, please add them to the articles. PamD 14:10, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Taufiq Rafat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
