Please read medical referencing criteria

See WP:MEDRS. Allowable referencing for medical/health articles does not include individual clinical trials (or pre-clinical, or in vitro). I removed the three you had added to Long-term effects of alcohol consumption. When describing meta-analyses or systemic reviews, do not over-detail on the description of the study: don't need year, or number of trials incorporated, or cumulative number of subjects, or duration. I shortened your addition on Roereck accordingly. Punctuation goes before the ref, not after. I hope you continue to find articles of interest to you, and work toward improving those. Hi David. I have read the referencing criteria again. It doesn't forbid to report findings from clinical trials, just in-vitro study results. I showed the page to some of my colleagues and they agreed with me. Am I missing something? Please let me know. Thanks!

No hyperlinks in body of article

User pages and other advice

Establishing a User page: Optional, but you may want to create your User page. Briefly, Wikipedia:User pages are a place editors use to describe their intentions and activities as editors. Can be short or elaborate. See mine as example. One option is to use existing Userboxes. See Wikipedia:Userboxes. My suggestion is don't get too deep into this - sometimes new editors spend more of their time on the User page and very little editing articles. David notMD (talk) 10:53, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Another contention when leaving comments at articles' Talk, your Talk or other editors' Talk pages is to use increasing numbers of : at the start of your comment. This indents. David notMD (talk) 10:53, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Referencing

I repaired some of your referencing. A tool I find useful: After finding an article at PubMed (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/) I copy the PMID number (eight digits except on older articles, seven digits). I then go to https://tools.wmflabs.org/citation-template-filling/cgi-bin/index.cgi and enter the PMID number. This generates a reference. There are other reference-creating tools, but this one is one of the standard versions for medical referencing. David notMD (talk) 11:15, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

• Sourcing of medical and health-related content on Wikipedia is guided by our medical sourcing guidelines, commonly referred to as MEDRS. These guidelines typically require recent secondary sources to support information; their application is further explained here. Primary sources (case studies, case reports, research studies) are rarely used, especially if the primary sources are produced by the organisation or individual who is promoting a claim.
• The Wikipedia community includes a wide variety of editors with different interests, skills, and knowledge. We all manage to get along through a lot of discussion that happens under the scenes and through the bold, revert, discuss editing cycle. If you encounter any problems, you can discuss them on an article's talk page or post a message on the WPMED talk page.
