Katyn massacre[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Katyn massacre. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --illythr (talk) 16:54, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Katyn Massacre again[edit]

Please stop adding an image that has not been tied to the Katyn massacre by a reliable source (such as a book by a professional historian). Using your own analysis to claim that the photo comes from Katyn is inadmissible under Wikipedia rules. Please consult the no original reasearch policy page to understand how things work here. If you keep violating the rules, you may get blocked from editing. --illythr (talk) 17:55, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Illythr, in my comment this time I don't claim that the photo comes from Katyn. The comment is: "Massacre in 1941 from Waffen SS of the same kind (with bullet in the nape) like Katyn". What embarrass you again? I read the rules very careful. I will pass on the next stage of resolving disputes.Santimento (talk) 20:03, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You put it into the article "Katyn massacre", where it does not belong - the massacre was perpetrated by NKVD forces, whereas the pictured execution was done by Waffen-SS officers in a different place (Poland, apparently) at a different time. Since the exact time and place of the execution is unknown, the usefulness of the image is extremely limited. The best place to add it, according to the provided source, would be this article section, where it could serve to illustrate the Nazi indoctrination the section discusses. --illythr (talk) 21:08, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The question of Katyn massacre is a mystery for the world more than 70 years. This foto can help for disclosure of this mystery. You can not be so shure that the Katyn massacre was perpetrated by NKVD forces. Waffen SS also make executions like the massacre in Katyn (with bullet in the nape). Do you realy don't see the relation? Santimento (talk) 21:31, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Again, please make yourself familiar with Wikipedia rule on original research. Own interpretations of primary sources, such as your assumption that this photo has anything to do with Katyn, are not allowed on the project. As for the mystery - it had been solved 20 years ago. The article contains ample documentary and scientific material I strongly suggest you familiarise yourself with. After reading up on core Wikipedia policies, that is. --illythr (talk) 22:04, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I do not claim that this photo was shot in Katyn. I do a relationship between two massacres, which is not inconsistent with the rules with which I am familiar in detail. The photo of the signing of the Ribbentrop-Molotov also no proven direct link with the Katyn massacre. The link is indirect. Do you encounter all the photos with such resistance? Including Nazy propaganda posters? Is it the holy true?Santimento (talk) 22:41, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I do a relationship between two massacres - another core policy you should look at is verifiability, specifically, the part about the burden of evidence. Please provide a reliable source that makes the connection (so far, we don't even know if this execution was part of a massacre, not to say which one). For the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, such sources are all over the place. --illythr (talk) 00:16, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I wait for decision of arbcom-l. We can make election for "who find relationship between these 2 pictures:"
File:Katyn1941.jpg
Execution from Waffen SS.
--Santimento (talk) 11:45, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You may as well wait forever because you haven't submitted a request to ArbCom. But even if you do, your obvious ignorance of Wikipedia's core policies (first of all of original research, but also of verifiability and reliable sources) will result in prompt rejection of such a request. --illythr (talk) 12:22, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why you are so sure? : arbcom-l-bounces@lists.wikimedia.org to me show details Dec 11 (2 days ago) Your mail to 'arbcom-l' with the subject Edit of page Katyn massacre Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval. The reason it is being held: Post by non-member to a members-only list Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive notification of the moderator's decision. --Santimento (talk) 17:08, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think that's the internal mailing list for the arbiters, that is, the one they use to discuss ongoing cases with each other. Besides, ArbCom doesn't make decisions on article content (see Wikipedia:Arbitration). But hey, don't let me detract you from the waiting. --illythr (talk) 17:46, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
