Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, SEOna b. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article WOT (browser add-on), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. I have added relevant citation, By the way when you edit title please be aware that you are using wrong name of the company.

I am new to editing so I may to some mistakes, but regarding this edit it is correct.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to WOT (browser add-on), without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The title which you have added doesn't talk about the page and company, read the services and history. It is not an addon. It is a service which has also addon. And the reason is well explained. Website is for searching if any website is safe or not. You can go to the search tab and type any website. So Title which you have made is not well explained what is the page about. I don't quite understand what you're saying, but if you think the page needs a better title, please follow the instructions at WP:RM#CM, and bear in mind WP:PRECISION. "WOT (Web of Trust)" isn't a useful title because the reader can't distinguish it from "Web of trust". You may want to consider "WOT (company)" or something like that, if you think the article should be about the company rather than the browser plugin. --McGeddon (talk) 09:21, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Page was moved because that moving page of wikipedia was open in my browser and it reloaded automatically when I restarted my pc, so it's not done intentionally. Please check the website and suggest what to add, It shouldn't be wrong title and browsed addon is completely wrong to use here.SEOna b (talk) 09:35, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
