A tag has been placed on Neighborhood Market Association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. 1966batfan (talk) 23:40, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger of Neighborhood Market Association into the article Mark Arabo[edit]

Hello! I see that you recreated this article after it was deleted. I can't see the deleted article, but I assume the new version has more references than it did. However, I have to warn you that this article is also likely to be deleted, since it does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability. Being notable is basically the same as being famous, and the test is whether the subject has gotten significant coverage from independent reliable sources such as newspapers. This organization has not gotten that kind of coverage. I am suggesting that instead of deleting this article, it should be "merged" into the article Mark Arabo, because he is more notable than the organization is. Merging means that the significant content will be merged into that article, and then this article will be blanked and the article title will become a "redirect" that takes people to the Mark Arabo article. You can discuss this proposal at Talk:Mark Arabo. Or you can ask me any questions right here. --MelanieN (talk) 03:05, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think that it would be best to do this merge/redirect. How would I go about doing this? Thank you for your help!

It's  Done. Thanks for agreeing. --MelanieN (talk) 04:04, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
