Regarding your post at Wikipedia:Newcomers help page[edit]

Normally, any articles created should appear automatically as soon as you have saved it for the first time. What is the title of it? Also, please remember to sign all your posts with 4 tildes (~~~~) to make it easier for other editors to see who has written what. Bjelleklang - talk 19:41, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Palghat Kollengode Viswanatha Narayanaswamy[edit]

Hello,

Thank you for your reply to myself, a newcomer to Wikipedia. The title of this reply to you (also asked of user Bjelleklang) is the name of the article that I published (biographical on a famous Indian musician). It does not appear when I search for it in Wikipedia. However, if I go to My contributions, I am able to pull up the article.

Is someone reviewing it?

How do I add search criteria (beyond what's there in the text of the article)?

Rsrinivasan 16:57, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article exists. The Wikipedia search index only gets updated every couple of weeks, so it is often out-of-date. This is why searching for "Palghat Kollengode Viswanatha Narayanaswamy" doesn't give any results. However, the "Go" button is updated within a couple of minutes of an article being created, so it works. There is nothing that can be done to list the article in the search index faster.--Commander Keane 17:01, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was just about to say the same thing.... Also; if you type http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/article name in the adress bar, you will also find the article if it exists, regardless of the search engine. Bjelleklang - talk 18:35, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Kvnsitting.jpg copyright problem[edit]

The image you uploaded, Image:Kvnsitting.jpg doesn't have the necessary copyright. Unfortunately, copyright images where the author gives permission for Wikipedia to use it have to be deleted (see {{Copyrighted}}). To keep the image, you need to ask the author to use a free licence (where anyone will be able to use the image for free, explained at Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags). If they don't want to make the image free, you might be able to use the image under the Fair use rationale.--Commander Keane 17:58, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:12, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
