Policy[edit]

The policy Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view#Balance which states " However, when reputable sources contradict one another and are relatively equal in prominence, describe both approaches and work for balance. This involves describing the opposing views clearly, drawing on secondary or tertiary sources that describe the disagreement from a disinterested viewpoint." We have two sources of equal repute that contradict each other and so we present them both equally. The info box is used for simple information and since the birthdate is not simple and requires context, we simply do not include it in the info box and we do not make our own personal commentaries about the sources in the article. While an individual may know their own age , it is all too common for people to publicly disclose an age that is not their actual age. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 00:48, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The basic answer to all of your questions is: Policy.
people are only acceptable for non promotional/non controversial claims about themselves. That other reliable sources have different dates means that there is a controversy and her word alone is no longer sufficient.
amazon is a commercial website whose primary goal is to sell its products it is not a reliable source
any other content that did not have a reliable source was also removed
The remaining content is insufficient to require divisions into sections. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 02:29, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
