Deletion? WTF?[edit]

FFS, someone already set this up for deletion? This *is* the same UESP that used to be m0use.net, right? In that case it's hardly fitting to slap WP:NOT on it. --In ur base, killing ur dorfs 06:15, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's right. http://www.uesp.net --Aristeo 06:32, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I placed the "under construction" template and the message on this talk page so that something like this wouldn't happen. Apparently the template wants me to explain the "importance and notability" of the subject, so here is a list of reasons the UESP is notable:

  • A Google-search on "Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages" brings up over 700 results [1]
  • Wikipedia has used UESP as a source a few times in its articles. (Search for UESP here for results)
  • UESP is unique-- There is no other Elder Scrolls wiki.
  • On the Elder Scrolls official forum, the search for "UESP" turned up around 135,100 results. Note that this forum frequently deletes it's oldest threads.

Please just give this article a chance (say, two weeks?) and do what you want with it then. --Aristeo 06:43, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(P.S. Could someone remove those deletion tags off the article? They're pretty intimidating) --Aristeo 06:47, 20 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Under Construction[edit]

After reading the Wikipedia:Notability (web) rules, I've decided to start an article about the UESP because the site falls in the guidelines for notability. I know that me being an admin on that site may give the impression that I'm trying to advertise, but turning that negative into a positive, me being an admin means that I know a great deal about it so I can write a good article about it worthy of being part of Wikipedia. I swear to adhere to the NPOV, and the rest of the content criteria as well ;) --Aristeo 05:53, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
