Hi, thanks for the message! Totally feel free to revert whatever I’ve messed up — as you know, I’m new here. I’m wondering if you can help me identify where I went wrong. I came to this page through the suggested copy edits feature, and noticed a lot of repeated and unclear material. As best I could, I tried to simplify, which meant shifting and rewriting some paragraphs. I don’t think I added any new content except the word flagstick. Tbh I thought my edits would likely be bad because they cut too much! I don’t know if that a faux pas, since it’s somebody’s hard work. But your message points out issues with sources and verification. Aside from flagstick, which I can delete or find sourcing, what are these issues? Did I delete existing cited sources by mistake? Some articles are edited often others are barely touched. And some get vandalized and are wp:page protected. Everything is saved in the wp:page history. If the word is not clear, you might be able to add a Wiktionary link. Such as wikt:flagstick. Probably best to wp:PIPE it so the "Wikt" isn't visible such as flagstick.

Content on Wikipedia needs to be wp:verifiable and cite a wp:reliable source (RS). The section on Setting the pins for play has no citations. One of the further reading may have instructions, but it's best to specify the source with a citation. See help:referencing for beginners. I understand this policy, but if you look at the version before I edited, there are no sources either. I don’t know who originally wrote the section. Maybe they were writing from personal experience, because they certainly didn’t show their work. Either way, your banner message is appropriate (I should have added one myself, I realize now) , but I can’t cite a source because the content/research isn’t mine.The original user who wrote the section might be able to help more.
