Regarding my invitation as you've posted on my user-talk page, this is my belated reply:
I would absolutely love to be there, but alas, I am abroad in Australia, unavoidably detained and hope to be back there ASAP.
It is delightful to know that South Africa holds members of wikimedia such as yourself. I only wish I was poised to be involved in your activities. I believe it would have been useful for me to attend.

Call for Wikipedians in Residence in Africa

I hope you are well and thriving!! WikiAfrica has just put out a call for two Wikipedians in Residence. One in Cape Town at WikiAfrica, at the Africa Centre; and the other for WikiAfrica Cameroon in Douala, at doual’art. If you are interested, please contact either Marilyn [marilyn.doualabelldoualart.org] for the WikiAfrica Cameroon call or Isla [islahfafricacentre.net] for the WikiAfrica position in Cape Town.
