Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

April 2024[edit]

Warning icon Please refrain from hijacking pages, as you did with one of the pages you edited. Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Please also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. 81.187.192.168 (talk) 13:47, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, can you stop overwriting the redirect at Old Portuguese and instead edit the actual article at Galician–Portuguese please? Thanks. 81.187.192.168 (talk) 13:55, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Real Mordecai 456! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Old Portuguese several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Old Portuguese, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 16:41, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Flumish dialect. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 14:34, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

House of Coimbra moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to House of Coimbra. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boleyn (talk) 15:05, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Your edits on Flumish language[edit]

I see you have been making edits on the page Flumish language, which you created. However, the page has been moved to Fluminense dialect, as this has been seen to be the correct name. Thus, please make any future edits to that page instead, as duplicate pages on the same topic are not allowed. Thank you. Flemmish Nietzsche (talk) 15:00, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Demetrios1993 (talk) 04:30, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
