College basketball coaches' templates[edit]

Hi Rail88– I saw where you added "present" to {{Kentucky Wildcats basketball coach navbox}}. I just wanted to let you know that WikiProject College basketball and WikiProject College football don't incorporate the word "present" in their navboxes for coaches. I do appreciate your effort to improve WP:CBBALL though – thanks! Jrcla2 (talk) 12:53, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 5[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Madden NFL 13, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joe Thomas (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reason for selection of IMF as source[edit]

In your recent edits on Reform of the United Nations Reform of the United Nations Security Council, when quoting GDP figures, you have quoted IMF as a source, and not the World Bank. May i know why? The figures of the World Bank and IMF are quite similar, but in case of India, there is a large difference in the 2 sources. India's WB figures are collaborated by the CIA list as well. May i know your reasoning? Regards, Anir1uph (talk) 16:39, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I usually always go with the IMF GDP numbers. No reason in particular, guess they seem a little more thorough to me. And they're the ones I see referenced most often, both on Wikipedia and in the media (or at least it seems that way to me). If you're talking about the text of the article itself, feel free to change it. If you're talking about the table I just made, I will adjust it if you really think its important to go with the WB numbers, but I just spent a good bit of time working on it, so if it's going to be changed I'd prefer to do it myself.
That's cool. I was just curious, that is all. I personally found the 2011 IMF figures a little hard to believe, as comparing the 2010 and 2011 IMF nominal GDP data, the Russia's GDP increased from 1.479 trillion USD to 1.850 trillion USD! (you can check the previous data from earlier versions of the page, before the 2011 IMF data was introduced) Anyways, the table is a great idea. Maybe, you can add 2 more rows: total of all G4, and a total of all P5, for the sake of comparison of the 2 groups. Just a suggestion! Regards, Anir1uph (talk) 17:04, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I thought about doing that. Would be interesting but I was worried that it might become too obtrusive, and would only bear out some fairly lopsided numbers. I might see how it looks though. That's interesting about Russia, I didn't notice that. Wonder where that growth came form, definitely doesn't seem like a business climate that would be attracting a lot of foreign investment at the moment. Although I think they had a good year oil-wise, and I know they're also putting billions of dollars into infrastructure in the Far East in preparation for the APEC summit.
Yup, editors might object it as WP:OR, so yeah, it might be too much. :) As for Russia, that is a 25% growth in GDP in a single year, and may be erroneous. I don't know. But the WB figures for both years project a gradual growth and seems OK, that is why i was asking i just noticed, even the world bank figures show such growth. I guess its ok then. :) Regards, Anir1uph (talk) 17:20, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Philadephia skyline[edit]

I am sorry to bother you, I am writing this correspondence to bring an image to your attention. I recently came across an image of the philly skyline that may be of interest to you. Even thought. the image seem like the comcast building is incomplete, it give a good scale of the buildings relationships to one another esp. Liberty Place bldgs, mellon bldg, verizon tower, & the blue cross blue shield bldg, which I & everyone else who does not live in philly can appreciate. I am writing to you because I do not have an acct in wiki & I do not know who the admin of the philly skyline wiki is. http://bodyofproof.wikia.com/wiki/File:Phil-skyline.png — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.188.154.38 (talk) 00:37, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
