How do I respond to people who threaten me?

I made some edits to offensive language against my religion. I received 2 rude responses threatening blocking me if I make any more changes. How do I respond? Any idea? Raghav.chandran (talk) 17:39, 2 September 2018 (UTC)

:-) Didn't realize it comes back to you. In any case, none of the changes I had made was 'vandalism'. The term "Hindu Mythology" was indeed used by the British to relate to all that came from the Hindu scriptures and legends. It is a demeaning term - essentially to claim that they are "myths", or a "a widely held but false belief or idea" as per the dictionary. I had edited that this term was used by Westerners (referring to Britishers) to refer to Hindu stories, and that an alternative term (scriptures, or legends) is more appropriate (as is used for stories from other religions). I do not think this amounts to vandalism by any means. And while I do not blame anybody (original author, or you) of deliberate bias, I do find it inappropriate that somebody would post a demeaning reference to Hindu texts as if it was the truth on Wikepedia and threaten others from modifying. I am indeed new to Wikipedia and I may have skipped some protocols, but to call this edit a vandalism is incorrect. I felt the urgent need to correct the bias and so the edit - none of which was factually incorrect or damaged the content or value of the site. Plus, I took care to not make any drastic changes and left all the content there. In any case, I encourage that we have an respectful conversation instead of threatening or abusing.
