Psyber[edit]

If you look at the articles you referenced under similiar terms, you'll see that some elements of the (now revised) article you contributed Psyber reads like a dictionary article. If you looked at Cyber (subculture) for example, you will see the basic formatting layout for an article. I'm going to put a different tag on psyber that will alert others to the fact this page needs attention. If the article can be improved, good! I welcome articles on Wikipedia! I've been monitoring the Newpages list and when I see articles that may not be suitable for WP, I (as well as many others) tend to tag them within 30 seconds of posting. Go here for some hints on how to write a great article. - Bladeswin | Talk to me | 21:20, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Psyber[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Psyber, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?

Comment: Please do not publish your own theories on Wikipedia before subjecting them to thorough peer review and academic criticism; they constitute original research, which is strictly not allowed on Wikipedia, a tertiary resource. Establish your own web site, post to Usenet or write academic papers to discuss and promote your theory first; if and when it becomes widely accepted and deemed significant, the "psybernetics" phenomenon can then be discussed in its Wikipedia article. ~ Jafet Speaker of many words 07:47, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
