SidaChu did great work[edit]

I just wanted to drop a note that I am really impressed with the proposed revisions at Vaginoplasty -- it looks like A+ work to me! In addition to writing well within Wikipedia's "tone", they were polite and collaborative on the Talk page. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:37, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know your impressions. That’s very helpful for me as a teacher to know about our students from others’ perspectives. This student has been outstanding in every other aspect of the course so I am very gratified, but not surprised, by your words: thanks again for your message! 2601:182:1080:10D0:4D6:E34F:53F:6E98 (talk) 00:00, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am always happy to see good work, especially by students! On a different note, I notice that you replied while logged out. You should know that Wikipedians can be very strict about expecting people to always use just one account and always edit while logged in. (And to sign their messages with a signature by typing four tildes, like so: ~~~~). In another context, you might rub someone very much the wrong way if they see you editing while logged out, because it is often abused by sockpuppets. (Wikipedians who spend a lot of time fighting vandalism and advertising can get trigger-happy when people accidentally look too much like sockpuppets.) Of course I understand that you haven't done anything wrong here, but I wanted to mention it so you don't accidentally get into some kind of conflict elsewhere without knowing why. Good luck with the rest of the class, and happy editing! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 03:59, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my! Thank you, L, that is very helpful to know. It is my first semester using Wikipedia for a project, and I have learned so much but there is so much more I don’t know! This happened because I was accessing this page through an email notification on my mobile device. Definitely want to avoid any misunderstandings: thanks again for the info! No worries, there is a LOT to learn, so at first it’s common to bump into this kind of thing! As a true Wikipedia diehard I avoid that problem by also being logged in on my phone, haha. As you’re learning, if you encounter any questions, of course WikiEd is on hand for you, but I’m also always happy to help newcomers if you post a question on my Talk page. Good luck with the end of the semester! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 17:24, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
