Template:INRConvert in infoboxes

Hi there, re: this edit, please don't use INRConvert in Indian film infoboxes. The Indian Cinema Task force at Wikipedia decided over a year ago that this template tends to leave us with outdated content when rates are inflated, and any attempt to calculate for inflation just results in infobox clutter. If you're interested in the rationale, it can be found here. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:50, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Sant Nagar

Hello, PrinceofPunjab. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Sant Nagar".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Current tennis rankings, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Venus. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

US Open 2023

Hi sorry about earlier, I reverted your change because it wasn't official yet (40:15) and something could have happened. LG and have a nice evening 2A01:C22:B16A:2900:68F8:778A:CEF2:12AD (talk) 17:47, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

It's alright. But, just to clarify, I only update the scores after the set/match have already finished on the official websites of the tournament since those have the fastest updates. All the other sites usually are a bit slower than the official one. Therefore, although the set/match was already finished, the other sites took some time to update and I made the edit after seeing the score on this website [1] PrinceofPunjab (talk) 18:02, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
Ok, I didn't know that. You're right. On TV, it's all a bit delayed 2A01:C22:A915:7500:68F8:778A:CEF2:12AD (talk) 18:10, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

Your submission of 2024 Sea of Japan earthquake to the 2024 WikiCup

Hi, PrinceofPunjab. I noticed you added 2024 Sea of Japan earthquake to your submissions page for the 2024 WikiCup. Unfortunately, it does not seem like you are eligible to receive points for this ITN right now. For one thing, the ITN has not appeared on the Main Page yet; points may only be granted once the page appears on the Main Page. Additionally, the history page does not show that you made any contributions at all to this article. As per Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring#General rules, "All reviewed content must have been worked on significantly by you to receive points"; this includes ITN nominations. We're not asking that you contribute a majority of the content, but you haven't edited the page at all.

If you have questions or if you disagree with my decision to not award points for this article, please feel free to post at WT:CUP. – Epicgenius (talk) 17:33, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

No evidence of proxy abuse after a checkuser investigated; this seems like a false positive. It's reasonable to undo ST47ProxyBot's block here. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 07:18, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

{{checkuser requested}}. IP block was made by ST47ProxyBot. Bullseye is giving me a bit of conflicting data on this specific IP, and it's likely a static IP. WikiCup 2024 February newsletter

The 2024 WikiCup is off to a flying start, with 135 participants. This is the largest number of participants we have seen since 2017.

Our current leader is newcomer Generalissima (submissions), who has one FA on John Littlejohn (preacher) and 10 GAs and 12 DYKs mostly on New Zealand coinage and Inuit figures. Here are some more noteworthy scorers:

As a reminder, competitors may submit work for the first round until 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February, and the second round starts 1 March. Remember that only the top 64 scoring competitors will make it through to the second round; currently, competitors need at least 15 points to progress. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAN, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges (Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs), Epicgenius (talk · contribs), and Frostly (talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. WikiCup 2024 March newsletter

The first round of the 2024 WikiCup ended at 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February. Everyone with at least 30 points moved on to Round 2, the highest number of points required to advance to the second round since 2014. Due to a six-way tie for the 64th-place spot, 67 contestants have qualified for Round 2.

The following scorers in Round 1 all scored more than 300 points:

In this newsletter, the judges would like to pay a special tribute to Vami_IV (submissions), who unfortunately passed away this February. At the time of his death, he was the second-highest-scoring competitor. Outside the WikiCup, he had eight other featured articles, five A-class articles, eight other good articles, and two Four Awards. Vami also wrote an essay on completionism, a philosophy in which he deeply believed. If you can, please join us in honoring his memory by improving one of the articles on his to-do list.

Remember that any content promoted after 27 February but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, feel free to review one of the nominations listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck! If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Thanks for keeping an eye on at least a few Drag Race-related pages. The WikiProject is active, if you're interested in contributing or following along. Hey there!
Drag race is my absolute favorite show, and I'd love to contribute to articles about it. It's just that I haven't had much experience writing about TV shows. I think I do not have the skills needed for paraphrasing sources for Wikipedia. That's why I typically stick to sports pages or focus on creating/updating tables and graphs. Thanks for the encouragement. PrinceofPunjabTALK 04:55, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
