==External links additions==

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. November 2007 (http://spam.flonnet.com)[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. MER-C 12:01, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notification. But, could you tell me exactly which all contributions form my account are spams. I am a little confused in that. As I am not an expert in this, and only trying to put in relevant information to share with other people, I may be fumbling and incorrect with certain procedures.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Poojakaul (talkcontribs)

Thanks for your response. Wikipedia is foremost an encyclopedia, it is NOT a linkfarm. Though the links may be useful in some cases, you are performing link additions only (we call that spamming, it does not necessary say something about the content being linked to). Also, adding links to one site only may be in violation of our neutral point of view policy (other sites may also contain good information, so why only link to this one?). Please contribute content (where these links may be interesting as references; see also our footnotes guideline), not links only! Hope this explains. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask! --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:44, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
