I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

I looked at the one source given for this article, and it was a one page mention not substantially about the subject. Since you're a fairly experienced editor, I'd like to ask that you verify the facts in the article and the subject's notability with better sources, before recreating it. Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Delphic Fraternity. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Sources needed for Days of the Year pages[edit]

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. About sources[edit]

I've just cruised through the list of articles you mention that you've created/edited on your user page. I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the basics of citing reliable sources. Almost all of the supposed sources are far too vague to pass any measure of WP:V.

According to the link that you posted on your user page, you are a historian connected with or on the board of the Delphic Fraternity and Delphic Society (Rochester). Any basic historian should have a much better grasp of how to cite sources so that they can be verified. Please stop adding such vague sources to articles. Leaving them in these article creates a lot of work to clean up material that may violate the fundamental pillars of Wikipedia. Toddst1 (talk) 06:20, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
