Hello.

Welcome.[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. If you click on Welcome -> {{Welcome}} <- you can see the standard message which has all sorts of useful links.

Anyway, I'm afraid to say there is a problem with File:Wolkberg1027.png which you uploaded. It's good that you got permission to use this on Wikipedia. There's a problem though. To use images on Wikipedia with permission, the permission needs to allow anyone to use the image. You can read about requesting permissions at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Failing that, you may need to find some other map. So far as I know, the copyright term in South Africa is 50 years from publication, so anything published before 1st January 1960 would be OK, but not after that.

Hope this makes (some) sense. The good people at the help desk will be happy to answer any questions. Regards, Angus McLellan (Talk) 21:34, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,

I have removed the hiking report from the Wolkberg Wilderness Area as it is not really encyclopedic content. I understand that you have put a lot of effort into article this, your first article, and hope that this action on my part does not discourage your from further contributing and helping to turn the Wolkberg Wilderness Area into a real encyclopedic article.

The content as you had it would however be very welcome at [1].
