The late Yuzuru Ito, founder of Ito University, established by United Technologies Company (UTC) to educate and promote Quality, & Positive Thinking Philosophies across all UTC divisions worldwide. Mr. Savo please tell us more about Ito San, my father new him in Japan. Regards, --24.214.201.214 (talk) 17:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Sam Young - University of Alabama[reply]

Sam,Many years ago, I am honored to say I was one of the late Yuzuru Ito students and later became a professor at his Ito University. Ito-san always talked about the importance of respect for workplace and employees, and the natural by-product is quality. I have many experiences developed from my time learning from Ito-san; please feel free to contact me anytime. Regards, Pietro --PietroSavo (talk) 12:53, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non Sibi Sed Patriae[edit]

A new addition, as you may have guessed, I am a US Navy Veteran, when I read the inscription over the chapel doors at the United States Naval Academy in Latin; Non Sibi Sed Patriae; “Not for self, but for country." Simple, but powerful selflessness takes time to develop, an old US Navy Motto worth sharing. --PietroSavo (talk) 19:24, 29 March 2009 (UTC) Pietro[reply]

  • Non Sibi Sed Patriae. Alansohn please explain the reason for changing "Non Sibi Sed Patriae", is not what Wikipedia represents, a tool to build upon with a strong focus on historical reality. --PietroSavo (talk) 04:31, 4 April 2009 (UTC) Pietro

History[edit]

I do like to respond to messages but if you choose the utterly weird method of contacting me via Geograph you must accept a delay. Re copies of deletions: did you read this message? All your edits are still available in the history, visible even to non-logged in users. "I am only xx years old and I have much to learn." I take that to mean "I am not some teenage kid to whom the web comes naturally". Actually I am somewhat older than you but I have been working with computers all my working life. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 17:33, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
