I'm surprised that there is no ad about vandalism tools. One can be be found here. I'm thinking of an ad like this:

This is a semi-inactive project, and I'm really interested in reviving it. I am trying to get people together to help out, and I think that an ad would really help to raise awareness. Ummm, the way that Wikipedia ads template works is that where ever the ad is displayed it will automatically link to the project page once its clicked. The only place that this function will not exist is on the image page itself.

Edit: I just noticed you are placing the image directly...the image must be spawned by the {{wikipedia ads}} template, not hard linked to the image.

Edit #2: After digging around a bit I finally found out a way. Another way to retain the link ability (besides using the click code method you came up with), is by using the using the following code:

Ad for Migrating Muni images to Wikimedia Commons

IMHO, this will be too limited to moving images of ONE group to commons rather than a whole set of images. We already have an image related to commons. However, if PPG or I were to make an ad, the focus would be on moving entire GFDL images to Commons, not just one project. M.^(er) 05:56, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Dravidian civilizations ad

Hi

We are looking for more members to join to improve the coverage of Dravidian related articles from South Asia. I would like to respectfully place a request for an add for our Dravidian civilizations. The map on that page including the light blue color and greetings in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu fonts could be used for the intro followed by the usual comments like the other ads for other projects.  Declined - Sorry, the only problem with this request is the project is too specialized. Typically ads are created for the WikiProjects that cover the country of origin of the civilization or its people. There is an ad for WikiProject Melanesia which covers several countries which are composed of Melanesians such as Fiji, East Timor, Solomon Isles and much more. That project is about articles pertaining to the Melanesian family of ethnicities. Similarly, WikiProject Dravidian civilizations is about covering the Dravidian family of ethnicities which are spread out in Southern India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and parts of Pakistan. Accepted - Though the scope of this project is steering toward specialized (like the request above), I've looked throughout the ad template and see we even have an ad for the Erie, PA WikiProject.
