Image sizing[edit]

Again welcome to Wikipedia. I thumbed and resized the image Vaca toposa to scale because the image is much too large. Wikipedia:Picture tutorial gives some useful information about image size. 1000px is too large for the page as you can see it overflows. Both images should be thumbed and scaled to size. Thanks for uploading Image:Publ 2-1-.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Copyright problems with Image:Location Dolores.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded, Image:Location Dolores.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Hi Pepeisho, in general, screenshots taken from the Google Earth application will still be copyrighted by the image makers, and so will be ineligible for use in wikipedia - see WP:CV for general explanation. The map image you have now replaced it with might now be usable under GFDL licensing rules, however you have not indicated the source of that map, or its copyright status. Would you be able to explain the source and your understanding of the copyright status for the new image on its page, please? Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Toposa in action.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Toposa in Action.jpg. The copy called Image:Toposa in Action.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

Thanks for your photos. 2 of your images — Commons:File:Toposa in action.jpg and Commons:File:Vaca toposa.jpg (which was File:Toposa.jpg) — have now been moved to Wikimedia Commons so they can be used on other Wikipedias also.
