Are you saying that template was hard to understand? It seems pretty clear to me. What did I do wrong? We're supposed to notify people of issues they might not be aware of, like using the minor edits ticky box correctly and signing their posts on talk pages, etc, else they're just going to continue doing that thing wrong. The messages are worded pretty politely so I don't know how I could have been more "careful". Why what? Why block trolls? Because they are a timesink. Why not wait for further disruption? Because trolls are good at dancing back and forth across the acceptable/unacceptable line, and end up being even more of a timesink. Why do I know he's a troll? Several reasons, but the most obvious: because 100% of the time, "new" editors who start screwing with {{sockpuppeteer}} tags of other accounts are sockpuppeteers themselves. -Floquenbeam (talk) 15:52, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
