Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello, M.Bitton. Thank you for the feedback. My edit on the Kabylia article was to add the Kabyle flag in the infobox. If you believe that isn’t necessary, then I shall accept that. PatriotMapperCDP (talk) 01:00, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Reconquista, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page History of Iberia. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

No worries, I’d be fine if the article got deleted. I think it isn’t really an important thing, just thought it would be an interesting subject to cover. You may delete it. PatriotMapperCDP (talk) 21:56, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

October 2021[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, you may be blocked from editing. Zefr (talk) 21:33, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but it said on the article that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, so I added it to the other political affiliations section of the infobox. I'm confused on how that's vandalism.
Your edit indicated to me that the DSA was being presented in the infobox as an "official" political affiliation (DSA has no official political recognition), when I'm unsure if that is the case, and it seems best not to feature the DSA there. Note that no other editor has reverted my revert. As you likely know, her article is continuously vandalized by right-wing editors, and I felt that undoing your edit was best for neutrality. I may have had a hair-trigger reaction by undoing your edit, so my apologies to you. Zefr (talk) 16:14, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, I may have overreacted in my response a bit. Have a great day! PatriotMapperCDP (talk) 22:43, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Block imposed for adding blatantly false claims with faked sources into articles. E.g. here you added a claim that it has been alleged that US forces in Afghanistan committed genocide, when the source actually discusses such allegations being levelled at Soviet forces in the 1980s. Here you falsely claimed that "the United States warned that Russia would invade Ukraine that day" (with this being an example of 'disinformation', when the source states that what acctually happened that day "Biden and Blinken warn that Russia could be on the brink of invading Ukraine", with no suggestion that this was 'disinformation' - for obvious reasons, as it turned out to be correct. Given the anti-US bias in both edits, I don't think that this is an accident or sloppy editing. Nick-D (talk) 22:39, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I agree that I have put biased information on articles and promise to avoid doing such things again. PatriotMapperCDP (talk) 21:05, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your statement below does not give me confidence that you will indeed avoid that. This is not the forum to protest or criticize the US government, please do that elsewhere. Being biased is fine, but you need to be able to control it. To consider unblocking you I would want you to agree to a topic ban from editing about the US government or its policies, broadly construed. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 21:18, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I would be open to accepting a topic ban on the US government and its policies. I mainly would like to continue editing infoboxes about wars and such to improve articles about such topics. PatriotMapperCDP (talk) 21:30, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You may make another unblock request for someone else to review. Please note that a topic ban from subjects related to the US government might prevent you from editing about some aspects of various wars. Just make sure that you understand what you are agreeing to. 331dot (talk) 23:32, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I do have an anti-US bias in my editing. Unlike some people, I'm not afraid to admit by biases. But at least I admit it. By voiding criticism of the US, Wikipedia is inherently showing pro-US bias. Even when I use words like 'alleged', it is somehow coming off as being biased. And, as I've stated, I am in fact biased against the US. Considering the US has invaded so many countries in the past twenty years and killed so many civilians. I'm tired of the oppression people are internationally put under by the US.
