Hello Pasmagic. I am just letting you know that I deleted User:Pasmagic/Detecting HTML5 Features Support in Browsers, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. GedUK  21:48, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Detecting a browser's HTML5 compatibility, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Detecting a browser's HTML5 compatibility and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Neoinr (talk) 02:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you're looking to do your own research into the best options for HTML5 feature detection, and describe the techniques you found, you should publish that on your own blog or website. Wikipedia is not the place for original research. If you would like to write about a particular piece of software in an encyclopedic fashion, with information that can be verified on reliable sources, then you're welcome to do so. If you have any questions or need further guidance, let me know, but those are all fundamental rules of wikipedia and any article you write must meet all of them. December 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:HTML5 compatibility, from its old location at User:Pasmagic/Detecting a browser's HTML5 compatibility. This is because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 09:14, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:HTML5 compatibility[edit]

Hello, Pasmagic. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "HTML5 compatibility".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 18:50, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
