MiLB Rosters

Hi! Thanks for your edits to several minor league team rosters. I wanted to let you know that, just like MLB team rosters (i.e. Template:Chicago Cubs roster), players and coaches should be organized alphabetically by position. Also, don't forget to pipe links so Michael Ryan (baseball) looks like Michael Ryan by placing a | after the parts in parenthesis. One more thing, remember to change the date in the template to the date of your update. Let me know if I can be of any help with these things or anything else. Blake Sims

It looks like many of these smaller leagues don't have transactions announcements, so in the case of Blake Sims, I added a source for a Frisco Fighters game recap that he was mentioned in (my edit). An official announcement would be best here, but since there isn't one, this will be sufficient to satisfy Wikipedia's verifiability policy. Thanks for helping with this! TSL Infoboxes

Hi @ParkerLyme. Curious to hear your thoughts on TSL accolades being added to players' infoboxes? I've noticed you have made edits on several pages related to these leagues- TSL, USFL. I brought up this topic - (here), but no one has responded. I feel as though any TSL awards/accomplishments should be added to these players' pages, as well-established + reliable sources have credited these players and their earned achievements on national television, as well as on the internet worldwide. June 2023

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Hi ParkerLyme. Thanks for your work in keeping the CFL roster templates up to date. One thing though: when you update a template such as Template:Calgary Stampeders roster, could you also make sure to update the corresponding navbox (Template:Calgary Stampeders roster navbox)? Updating for the defunct USFL/XFL teams

Hi ParkerLyme. I appreciate you updating player articles to state that they're free agents after their XFL/USFL team has folded, but do you think you could maybe add in the prose some kind of text such as The team was discontinued when the XFL and USFL merged.? I think it would be better for our readers as otherwise they see text stating that "[name] was signed by [team] on [date]" and nothing else whereas the lead states they're a free agent, which could be confusing. Semicolons

Coaches articles for deletion

@ParkerLyme, I am going to assume some of these coach pages I make will get deleted due to the lack of sources (Brett Guminsky) so if you want to help find sources for them and/or build upon the stub that I have on some of these to help them not get lost to the AFD process that'd be cool, but 100% not required if you are not up for it. I can make the articles no problem, it's keeping them from being deleted since NAIA and D3 coaches are generally not counted as automatically notable like D1 and D2 coaches are. I had Anthony Van Curen moved to draft space the other day but i have since had it restored to main space. Thetreesarespeakingtome (talk) 00:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

@ParkerLyme, I am looking into making Jack Osberg (Augsburg head coach 1991–2004 and their all-time win leader) and I am pretty much good to go with all the information...except for one thing.

As you may be able to see, there is a slight gap between 1984 when he was defensive coordinator for Augsburg and when he was promoted to head coach. I have tried to find something that states what he may have been doing but have been unable to. If you ever have a moment and would like to take a look I would greatly appreciate it!
