A tag has been placed on File:Xwi7xwa Library.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Andy Frye moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Andy Frye, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations establishing Frye's notability from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Please do not mark your edits as minor when they are not[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Lisa Solberg, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Melcous (talk) 21:05, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

October 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Lisa Solberg. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Help request[edit]

Hi, got blocked as spammer for "sock/meatpuppetry" with the implication that I was paid for creating pages. I have not and was not paid for creating or revising any pages. Anything I can do? Re the note about Hexany Audio, I was trying to help a friend make the page more neutral once it was flagged.

I use wiki almost every day and when I have a little time, I like to create/add info to pages about topics that are of interest to me and help the community since I use the site so much just for general knowledge.

The guide to appealing blocks may be of interest. Also, "I was trying to help a friend make the page more neutral once it was flagged" - that is somethig you should expand on. Huon (talk) 21:03, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Huon.

Insert your reason to be unblocked here

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 17:55, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Hi, I was blocked as a spammer for some on the content I contributed to community, particularly Hexany Audio and Kenneth Estenson. I understand that administrators believe I am being paid to create pages, in particular these ones. I can confirm that I am not being paid as I understand this is completely against Wikipedia rules. For Hexany Audio, I edited the page to show how to create neutral pages that are informative and relevant to Wiki. Re Kenneth, I have been familiar with him since his time as Disney and b/c of his work at major companies I deemed him notable for a page. I've also had a few pages I drafted rejected and that has helped me better gauge what kind of pages are worth creating. While I have created some pages, my history on Wiki shows that most of my focus is fixing pages that need revisions b/c of language issues, content, or to include updates b/c I enjoy giving back to the community. That said, because of the cause for concern re the pages I've created, I will stick to editing and updating pages that have been flagged as needed revisions vs. creating new ones in order to win back the trust of administrators. I want to make contributions that are useful, in line with Wiki rules b/c I am such an avid user. Thank you.
