Your edits to Garhwali[edit]

Hello there! You might have noticed that I reverted your edits to Garhwali. Please review this for an explanation of why your addition was not appropriate for the article. GorillaWarfare talk 14:53, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This conversation is must to inform the Garhwali People about this dying Garhwali Language. Plz support.) uttarakhandrawat (talk) 08:10, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your reasoning for wanting to post something such as that, but Wikipedia is not the correct place. Perhaps start a website of your own intended to inform people of that. However, a list of phrases and their Garhwali translations are not appropriate to this article because, as WP:NOTGUIDE says, Descriptive articles about languages, dialects, or types of slang (such as Klingon language, Cockney, or Leet) are desirable. Prescriptive guides for prospective speakers of such languages are not. GorillaWarfare talk 13:41, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please notice I changed the number of speakers. You edited it to say "4,000,000 (Unofficially)". Information on Wikipedia needs to be able to be traced back to a verifiable source. If you can find a verifiable, third party source that backs up your number, feel free to change it. Until then, leave the number as it is. Also, be very careful about sticking to a neutral point of view, as you seem to have a bias towards this language. GorillaWarfare talk 14:04, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir, the figure of around 2 million Garhwali Speaker is on basis of Census 2001 & after 9yrs it is estimated at around 4million. I will try to get a verifiable source for that. However i assure to stick to the neutral point of view policy of wiki in future. thnks uttarakhandrawat (talk) 08:18, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Negi ji 01.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Negi ji 01.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:53, 8 September 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7.
