Fresh water[edit]

I have reverted all your additions and edits to Fresh water for a number of reasons. You removed a wikilink to groundwater which is a critical component of Fresh water resources. You changed the text to imply that all groundwater is in aquifers when in fact much groundwater is in pore space in non aquifer rock formations, in soils transitioning to rock storage or conceivably in the Hyporheic zone. You also added a source about grey water re-use to support the following statement:

Obtaining fresh water for human use also adds to the burden of environmental pollution due the ample energy required to extract and transport it. This expands on the need to conserve fresh water and find more efficient ways to reuse and transport it, without sacrificing the environmental quality.

.The added text does not relate to the quote given and also uses non-encyclopaedic terms such as "..ample energy..".

I understand that your edits have been made in good faith and reflect a sound understanding of water issues, but on Wikipedia we can't express a personal opinion or personal analysis of the sourced information. I am happy to help in future edits if that would be of assistance. Regards  Velella  Velella Talk   01:10, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
