Help with Urdu[edit]

What is the meaning of 'I' and 'We' in Urdu? Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.132.111.159 (talkcontribs) 03:29, 8 August 2006

The same as it is in English! Maybe clarify your question? Ozzykhan 18:23, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

God vs Allah[edit]

Because of your previous interest with regard to the topic, I thought I'd let you know that there is a poll going on at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (Islam-related articles)/God vs Allah. It'd be great if you could vote. Thanks! Starwarp2k2 04:15, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the vote! Although I am not a chicken expert, I remember reading somewhere that the purpose of their talons was not to be a "carnivore" persay. And also, a good guide I personally use in determining whether an not-purely-herbivorous organism is halal or not is the following: if humans were in the wild and had to eat the animal's food(in this case the worm), would the food have to be made halal? I don't think thre is a way to make worms halal, so chickens consuming them is okay. Same theme goes for fish, in my opinion.

As far as classifying them as bacteria though, I disagree. Either way you go, the conclusion of chicken has being halal still stands, right?Starwarp2k2 15:22, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"More" halal? Largely depends on what type of halal you observe I guess. I'd be very interested in seeing your findings..Thanks!Starwarp2k2 17:46, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why you're fighting so hard for no-name bands. So Chad van whats his name is on the CBC 3 playlist, so? The only reason he has a page is because he (or someone he knows) created it. It's the same with that one. So, a member played for Broken Social Scene, so? That alone should not make a band notable. -- Scorpion 16:20, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, merge it. I'm only going after bands and if she did play for BSS, then that would make her relatively notable. -- Scorpion 16:27, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lot (real estate)[edit]

What sort of wikifying do you think should be done to Lot (real estate) ? Dividing it up into sections? H Padleckas 19:15, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IMHO not a stub[edit]

Hello, Ozykhan, why do you think Černé jezero article is a stub. There are ten (mostly quite long) sentences plus an infobox pretty stuffed with numbers. Also an image and coordinates. IMHO important things regarding the lake have been said or linked to (Operation Neptune). What more should I add there? Thanks in advance for your explanation. --Miaow Miaow 17:39, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ribbons[edit]

The one on the commons shows up properly. It's just the one here that's blocking it. It's already tagged for deletion. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 18:44, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its a buffalo not a speedy canditate[edit]

This article was previously marked for speedy and removed, as it does assert notability. Either prod it or take it a AfD if you think it doesn't meet Wikipedia standards 206.126.170.20 18:02, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As they are not identical (or almost identical) recreations, the consensus in the AFD--which was to delete those articles lacking any meaningful content--probably doesn't apply to them. As the creator of the new articles did not participate in the deletion discussion and may thus be unaware of it, I will leave a note on his talk page informing him of the AFD. -- Black Falcon 22:33, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Barry Tebb[edit]

I came across this article as a mis-sorting "People from Leeds" (hadn't got a DEFAULTSORT), but then did quite a bit of cleanup etc on it. I see you added the wikify, cleanup and notable templates- I think it's now OK on all grounds so have removed them. Hope this is OK - not really sure what the protocol for removing templates is, but will "be bold"! PamD 20:27, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think these series need a scorecard for every match. A summary table is also needed for these pages to reach B-class. Monsta666 21:10, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gilli-danda[edit]

Before I removed it again, I wanted to ask you by what criteria you consider gilli-danda a form of cricket as opposed to a separately evolved, similar game. Take care, mayn —Wiki Wikardo 16:36, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Liberation News (Internationalist)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Liberation News (Internationalist), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page.
