non ec votes

If you have twinkle, you can request ECP page protection citing arbitration enforcement really easily from any AFD instead of trying to keep up with the individual votes. Once an AFD that should be EC restricted has non-EC votes that is enough reason to request protection. nableezy - 04:16, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Awesome, thanks for the tip. --Orgullomoore (talk) 04:24, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Improper clerking

You can't delete comments while leaving the disembodied responses lying around. There are quite strict rules regarding this, with no exceptions. If you think a thread is disruptive, you can either strike comments that have been responded to, or you can remove all of the material. You can't remove comments, but leave their responses. Iskandar323 (talk) 06:08, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

What strict rules are you talking about? Please provide a link. Also, why wouldn't you just remove your own reply to the troll (as you eventually did) instead of replying all their comments which were very obviously not constructive edit requests? Also, please stop being rude. --Orgullomoore (talk) 08:41, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I haven't been rude, but you accusing me of being rude certainly is. And given that you have not abiding by talk page requirements, per WP:TALK - see the part on striking - I would personally encourage you to focus on reading the guidelines and maintaining good faith towards editors that point out your error. Iskandar323 (talk) 09:02, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
You didn't answer my question about why you would revert me instead of just removing your "disembodied" comment. I consider myself to be very good at assuming good faith. I am confident that you are in fact being rude. I doubt that any detached observer would fail to notice that it is rude to write Then at least clean up! Don't leave disembodied responses lying around!, as you did here. That is not the only time you have been rude to me, as you should be able to tell from examining your own conduct. I'm also not the first to notice. Regarding WP:TALK, I did not find the strict rules with no exceptions you're talking about. As you know, non-ec users can use the talk pages in ARBPIA topics for constructive edit requests only. These clearly are not constructive edit requests. You had no reason to restore them, even if your concern were "disembodied responses lying around." And to the extent there is some strict rule, without exceptions, prohibiting the removal of obvious troll bait without also removing responses, you violated that rule with respect to these lovely comments. Lastly, if I did in fact violate these strict rules you speak of, I apologize. It's not that big of a deal. Calm yourself down, please. Please highlight the specific part of that rather long page you believe I violated if your good faith intention is in fact to point out my error as opposed to simply rain on my parade. I'll be happy to address any constructive criticism you bring to my attention though I prefer you don't wrap it in hostile animosity. --Orgullomoore (talk) 09:37, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Please cease with the aspersions. If you think the talk page rules are confusing, you can go and ask someone at the teahouse or admin's noticeboard about them, but it states quite clearly on WP:TALK that you must strike, not remove, comments that have been replied to, i.e. I shouldn't have had to remove my disembodied comment; you should have simply struck the offending comments - but I just couldn't be bothered to enforce the rules on a minor matter when the other party clearly doesn't understand them. QED. Iskandar323 (talk) 12:16, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Yes, God forbid you be inconvenienced with having to do anything other than revert and leave snide remarks on talk pages. Good talk. --Orgullomoore (talk) 14:19, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
