Politics[edit]

Please do not write anything political on the Tamaskan pages. This is a sensitive page and we have been warned that offenders will be banned. Try to keep to facts when writing rather than rumour or suggestion. Thanks Exhaustfumes —Preceding comment was added at 18:18, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have not written anything political, only tried to clarify some of the ambiguity in the history section. My conclusions are backed up by sources readily available, links to these sources have been included on the Tamaskan discussion page. I have nothing against the Tamaskan dog (I think they look great)and no political motivations.--Onefivenine (talk) 20:34, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:NI3.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:17, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:NI1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NI1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:07, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

January 2008[edit]

In a recent edit to the page Northern Inuit dog, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. Rjd0060 (talk) 22:56, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is exactly what I was doing, the article was written in UK English about a dog from the UK, quoting the UK breed standard.--Onefivenine (talk) 23:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
