Wikipedia has many rules. While anyone can edit, they have to comply with the policies, guidelines, and norms or else other editors may change the text back. You may notice how few links to external websites Wikipedia has. That's due to almost constant patrolling by editors and administrators. Very few websites qualify, and community forums aren't among them. If an eager-to-clean editor sees someone adding forums they're likely to remove it without a second glance.
Another important consideration is that sourced, verifiable information is prized, while material that looks like personal opinion is prohibited. If you can add a footnote to your material it greatly increases its value. Is thre any website or publication that covers this material?
Let me know if I can be of more help. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 11:32, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
