Creating Page[edit]

Hi,

I am trying to create a page for a company i’ve heard about and got some information on however i’m always being requested for deletion. Do you think you could help me re-word the page so that I don’t keep getting this.

Thank You Stander60 (talk) 22:33, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I think the problem is that in order to be included in Wikipedia, article subjects have to be notable. That means they have to have significant coverage in independent, verifiable secondary sources. You can read more at Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). A quick Google search on my end did not turn up any such sources for Staffing Future. But if you have some I can certainly help you to integrate them into the article.
Also, do you work for the company, or are you being paid to create/edit this article for them? If so, you should also see Wikipedia policies on paid-contribution disclosure and conflicts of interest. Let me know if I can help further. NsevsTalk 00:02, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Yes I am being paid to make the article for Staffing Future, I have a few articles and obviously the page that needs to be made too. I read these wikipedia articles but I don’t know how else to phrase the information in a way that still captures the company but also follows guidelines. Let me know where you would like me to send the information, and see if I can get this ready for approval.

Thanks. Stander60 (talk) 01:26, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have attemped to add the code so that the page isn’t deleted by wikipedia editors saying that this is a paid project by the company Stander60 (talk) 05:35, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The best way to avoid the article getting deleted is to add evidence of notability with reliable sources as discussed in the guideline I linked above. You don't need to send it to anyone, just add it to the article.
The fact that the company is paying you to edit the article is not going to keep it from being deleted. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear. NsevsTalk 13:01, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have added relevant sources from both the company and their partners, along with videos and media that should conform to guidelines however editors keep coming back and saying the page isn’t strong enough so i’m not sure what more to do? It’s hard because the company doesn’t have many sources at the moment as they are going through a transitional period.

Thanks. Stander60 (talk) 17:09, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get to see the sources before the article was deleted, but if there are no outside sources then the company isn't notable enough for an article on Wikipedia. NsevsTalk 11:54, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The page is still here - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Staffing_Future and there are both inside and outside sources Stander60 (talk) 17:01, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have added more sources to the page, i’m not sure if there is a benchmark but happy to try and get more if needed. Stander60 (talk) 16:53, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wait[edit]

This are people in the game, I'm going to add the pages later because its alot of work. Dustinpf99 (talk) 03:25, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Players are not notable unless they've been covered in outside sources (as in, not the website itself). Adding citations and sources would help. NsevsTalk 03:32, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
For the players of CFBrisk they would consider these players Notable as they are players that have had an effect on the game. Such as coders, leaders of teams, ect. Dustinpf99 (talk) 15:48, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Notability on Wikipedia is not determined by you or me or the players on a website. It's determined by coverage in outside sources. Read the pages I've linked above. NsevsTalk 14:57, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
