Changing section headings on talk pages, as you did here, is often not a good idea. When it is changed to something provocative and insulting, as you did, then that is considered being deliberately disruptive. Discussion headings should ideally always be neutral. What is provocative and insulting to one may be neither to another. I have now changed to a section heading accounting hopefully better for the many sensibilities of the Wikipedians. The rationale for changing section heading on a talk page as crowded as that for Murphy's law is helping readers of the page locate quicker the topic which they might contribute to. There is no doubt in my mind that changing the title from "History" to "English (pre)history" was calcultated to be insulting - unless you genuinely believe that the World War 2 occured in pre-history or that it was a purely English affair, and I very much doubt that you believe any such thing. It is rarely a good idea change section headings from the original posting for many reasons. First of all, this one ahs been here for some time and it may have been linked from elsewhere. Secondly it can subtly change the meaning of some of the subsequent posts. SpinningSpark 20:51, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
