He created two new socks: User:LykaRaymundo and User:Carpioeje. Both users have the same editing pattern (All edited articles are about Angel Locsin and its related articles. Please check out LykaRaymundo's contributions and Carpioeje's contributions for evidences. Thanks! -Danngarcia (talk)

User:LykaRaymundo was definitely Gerald. It is likely that User:Carpioeje is not. --NrDg 16:05, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
He created another one just hours ago: User:Kristine Charice. He readds one of his sock's edits to the Lobo (TV series) article. Maybe this article should also be semi-protected. -Danngarcia (talk) 09:04, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
I've already posted this at the Long-term Abuse section; Gerald's now harassing me at YouTube recently, maybe an ArbCom case or an email to Jimbo himself will do; I know he doesn't seem to be malicious, but we had enough of his sockpuppet show. I've recently found his [Hot_Gerald_Gonzalez08@yahoo.com email address], just in case you want to contact him about his actions. God Bless and have a nice day... Blake Gripling (talk) 12:14, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
You'd probably have better luck just contacting him yourself. There is really not much that can be done, other than what we are doing now, to change his behavior. --NrDg 15:58, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
He harassed me, that's why I'm passing the dirty work of contacting him to you guys... Blake Gripling (talk) 23:49, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Me, too. Ginacarmen blocked me falsely. Unknownquinones (talk) 02:43, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
I found another evidence to file a complaint against that Gerald, look at his Friendster account. Unknownquinones (talk) 03:06, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Yep, saw him. I did a Google search on him and found that out... Blake Gripling (talk) 01:29, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Miley Cyrus Name Change Source

Actually, the original source only linked to one of the court documents. I posted the second source because it included all of the legal documents. Mike126beatles (talk) 17:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

My only real problem is that you broke the cite for the second time the reference was used. Keep the name= parameter when you change the reference and all will be well. Either reference is fine - only need the actual doc for the final name change court order, though, to support the information of what is her legal name. --NrDg 18:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for clarifying. --Mike126beatles (talk) 18:25, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 17:47, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Leagrean

Hello NrDg, how've you been. Theres' this one user that keeps irritating me by putting "The Way We Almost Weren't" in the season two area, when there is clearly a section stating it belongs in future episodes. What to do?- Yours truly, [ S ] υ ρ є r ı o r reply! 20:37, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

The whole issue will be moot on the 4th. I suggest just letting it slide. --NrDg 04:28, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Gerald's now harassing me...

Hey there... After a dozen warnings, this fanboy named User:Gerald Gonzalez, the same user that I'm talking about earlier, is now harassing me by sending hate speech at me via YouTube. You told me he's annoying but not malicious, but it seems as though he's now resorting to being against WP:CIVIL, saying the f-word at me if I request full protection of Angel Locsin's article. I tried blocking him from sending messages to me, but still he's flaming at me. Can you notify him about this? Please??? God Bless and have a nice day, sir...

P.S.: Here's the original message, with profanity asterisked out:

May 03, 2008

f*** you you are *** dont let request Angel Locsin's page to be fully protected because i will kill you. **** YOU So much....your a gay...... hahaha....... uve reported me to NrDg in Wikipedia **** you..... Gay.,....

Blake Gripling (talk) 10:04, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

I, personally, can't think of anything that can be done within Wiki that will solve the problem with personal attacks outside wiki. You might try posting about the situation at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents to get the attention of other admins. --NrDg 04:33, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
He created another sock: User:Ivan Francis. Please check out his contributions for evidences. Thanks! -Danngarcia (talk) 09:49, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Miley's Official Myspace

Hey! Miley started her official myspace and i think we should put it on and add it.Katicab2 (talk) 19:48, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Katicab2

Official myspace http://www.myspace.com/mileycyrus is already in the article. Anything else is a probable poser and is definitely NOT official. --NrDg 20:04, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

That's her music myspace. She has a Personal one. and it's true. User talk:Katicab2 —Preceding comment was added at 15:14, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Irrelevant. It is private, not proven by anything referenced to be hers so presumed a poser, and does not meet WP:EL requirements. There is nothing there that is useful to wikipedia. Stop adding it back. If you believe it should be in the article start a discussion on the discussion page and make your case there. --NrDg 15:18, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Email blocks

Hey, NrDg. Just a reminder that email should not be disabled as a default when blocking accounts. Per the blocking policy, email should only be disabled in response to abuse of the email function. Thanks, - auburnpilot talk 20:18, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the reminder. I reviewed the policy and agree. --NrDg 21:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Talk page history

You might want to look at the history of your talk page. There's been a temper tantrum.Kww (talk) 01:45, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I've been watching. And more than just my talk page. Other than pestering me and a few others the editor hasn't quite stepped over the line yet. --NrDg 01:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I imagine it's similar to being the target of soooper seeecret attacks by the neighborhood gang of four-year-olds. Fun to watch for a while before you put a stop to it. My patience would have been exhausted a while ago, though.Kww (talk) 03:58, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

You think you're smart? Well, you are not smart. In fact, I bet your intelligence is zero. Are you this good at pissing people off or what? DemiLovato15 (talk) 02:14, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Demi, that's NOT the way on how you behave in Wikipedia. Now please, stop insulting us or face the consequences... Blake Gripling (talk) 07:35, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Renfrewshire Youth Voice

I earlyer made a page about an organisation, Renfrewshire Youth Voice and it was destroyed under these terms: (A7 (group): Group/band/club/company/etc; doesn't indicate importance/significance)

May i ask you to look at the article i have re-written and tell me if you beleve it is now suitable?

The article is on my user page. KrizzyB (talk) 22:12, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Still doesn't indicate importance or significance. This should be directly stated in the opening paragraph as to why this group is important beyond some local notoriety. The references you used don't support anything other than that the group exists. You might also contact User:Starblind as he was the one deleting the original article. See WP:N and WP:V for some more reading. --NrDg 22:23, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

User:SDLexington

Sorry - managed to miss that. User's unblocked, userpage and talk page cleared up. Good catch. GBT/C 17:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, NrDg. I undo the article of Marian Rivera because I identified as vandalism. Please, block the IP address 121.97.109.76 temporarily. THANKS!!! Unknownquinones (talk) 12:08, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Help, NrDg, I have another report, please block also the IP address 90.201.215.118 because of VANDALISM!!! THANKS!!! Unknownquinones (talk) 13:09, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

We are not allowed to block accounts until they have been sufficiently warned that their behavior is disruptive. I issued a warning to 90.201.215.118 and if he continues will eventually be blocked if he continues past a final warning and someone reports to WP:AIV or I or some other admin notices. Please continue to undo vandalism as you find it. See WP:Vandalism for more information on how to effectively handle vandalism and issue the needed warnings. --NrDg 14:33, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Question

Hey NrDg I was wondering if you could coach me, like WP:ADMINCOACH just I'm not trying for a adminship at the moment. I need to get better in some areas. Would be nice if you could accept, or at least consider it. Thanks. --Kanonkas :  Take Contact  16:55, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I won't be able to do any coaching at this time. Thanks for asking though. --NrDg 19:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh no problem, when you do have some time then just contact me. If it's okay to do it in june/july then that would be great. Best regards --Kanonkas :  Take Contact  20:02, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Take a look at this: Bratzwq and Bratzqw. I'd say it would be the same account creator which I do belive. Just telling you this so if the user is doing "sock puppet" acts, you can take further actions if needed. --Kanonkas :  Take Contact  13:13, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
If you do not mind, I'd like to inform you I've become an admin on Wikimedia Commons so if you need anything deleted, or any help over there be sure to leave me a note! --Kanonkas :  Take Contact  17:52, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Why did you revert my clarification that she is African American? It seems typical at WP to mention the heritage of minority actors and others. I thought that it was peculiar that the fact was ommitted here, while another actress in this series is described as Phillipino America. Is there a reason? Thanks! --Kevin Murray (talk) 21:17, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

After looking through a random selection of articles in the category african-american actors, I see that there is inconsistency, but the majority now do not specify african-american in the lead sentence. I remove my objection to your reversion, though I remain concerned that we are inconsistent among the ethnicities and within. My preference would be to eliminate all of the hyphenated terms from the leads, but mention backgrounds where significant in the text. Cheers! --Kevin Murray (talk) 21:55, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

There was also information from an unreliable reference in the edit as well about a relative in the edit I reverted. Generally the lead section of a bio article contains the nationality of the person. She is American so that should be mentioned. African-American is a racial classification, not a nationality, and IMHO does not need to be in the lead section as it is not important, for this particular person, as to why she is notable. Also African-American should be wikilinked as African-American. It is compound noun or noun phase and the separate parts should not be separately linked. The definition of African American as shown in its article included residents as well as American nationals of African descent and thus is not a specific nationality indicator. Saying American of African descent would be better phrasing if it were to be included. I have no objection to including religion, race or ethnicity in articles as long as the info is properly sourced as per WP:BLP --NrDg 00:20, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

User:Jevon Tompkins may be at it again

I think you may want to check the articles that this rogue user has contributed to, especially Carolco Pictures and related. Some of his edits have been mixed with good faith edits and have gone undetected, and a movie article he created may be a hoax(it may get caught by another before you read this). Just thought I give you a heads up since you suspect he may have 2 IP socks... Ranma9617 (talk) 06:32, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Ive successfully removed this image [1] in the article. Ive just only added some statement about the said teleserye. SBTVCAL 06:04, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

(WP:FUC and license terms for logos say one logo identification per article. More than one can't be justified under fair-use of copyrighted material. --NrDg 05:04, 19 May 2008 (UTC))-Really? But why is it that Dyesebel (TV series) is having 2 images [2] [3] and both images are all in the article. Well its unfair. SBTVCAL 06:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Well,I had already removed this image [4] in Dyesebel (TV series) article. SBTVCAL 06:15, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Just look at the history, I mean they're changing the dates from June, May, July all over it and that's not all, the singles also get added without any reliable sources. Could you please protect it? I could go to WP:RFPP but you're the expert here. Best regards, --Kanonkas :  Take Contact  21:29, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Two dates are supported by the Amazon.com reference. Amazon says Audio CD (July 1, 2008) Original Release Date: June 24, 2008. I take that to mean originally planned for June 24 but rescheduled to July 1. Those edits to article are supported by a reference that is generally considered reliable but in this case a bit ambiguous. There has been some bogus track adds. I don't think protect is needed right now but will watch. --NrDg 21:41, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Okay, it's just those dates goes back and fourth all the time on the article. Thank you, have a nice day. --Kanonkas :  Take Contact  21:48, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for understanding because of your good advices, from now on I will be more literate person. Sorry again for everything. I hope you will trust me. Sorry for so many inconvenience to you. HSM2 Singalong

I don't think this has been a notable enough controversy to include in the article, but it is funny. Kww (talk) 13:57, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry for all the wrong doings I've done. I'm so embarrased. I Just want to ask permission to you because i want to edit Angel Locsin's page, i just want to help the page better. Thankyou. Anyway i want to upload free image of Angel Locsin and put it in the article. Also i want to remove the (2) templates on the top of the article, I think those templates are not necessary to include in the article. Again thankyou for the advices. I hope you will not give up in advicing my wrong doings. Thankyou a lot. SBTVCAL (talk) 01:07, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Why did you not considered by edit. I Did not copy my edit i just add it right now. I Think the page must have a change. Okay i will not remove the (2) templates on the top. Please return the page ive edited please it was more better than the revision it has right now. Please. Thankyou! SBTVCAL (talk) 02:26, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Checkuser?

Hi NrDg, you seem to be familiar with user:Aiza00 and his socks. There's been long term disruption from this person. Perhaps another checkuser report can be filed here? Spellcast (talk) 19:32, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

He's pretty obvious and has admitted to owning the socks. From stuff I've seen I don't think he has a static IP or a small range we can block. He is effectively banned already. I don't block immediately when I see him until the edits become disruptive again. I've tried to encourage good behavior and give some guidance but have had the same results as the many others who have tried this in the past. I'm not sure what a checkuser would accomplish in this case. --NrDg 20:02, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
I just thought checkuser could be used to find an underlying range. Anyway, I'll keep watch of those articles for now and semi-protect if needed, cheers. Spellcast (talk) 20:07, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Also, it seems as though he did not reflect and learn from his mistakes, as he kept on bringing back the POV content he made, instead of adding reliable information. Perhaps a topic-ban will be necessary. Blake Gripling (talk) 00:31, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
We'd have to unblock him and he'd have to honor a topic ban. I tried an informal topic ban when I asked him to not edit anything to do with Angel Locsin or Marian Rivera either those articles or insertion/deletion in other articles. He honored that for a while and most edits he did, not related to those two topics, were OK or good-faith mistakes (on the surface). So I left him alone, watched, and gave advice, hoping he would be a net positive to the project. My wiki social worker goal was to try to solve the problem by positive reinforcement to try to get him to stop being disruptive. Didn't work, although he was making some progress before he got blocked for the same old reasons. I can't decide whether he is really obtuse, obstinate or if I was being played like others who tried to motivate him to contribute positively. --NrDg 01:07, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

I think Brenda Song can be unprotected now. Gimmetrow 20:45, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Multiple Sock Puppets

Hi, NrDg, please warn or block SBTVCAL and Ginacarmen again because of sock puppet of those two of them and creating multiple accounts. But I found in YouTube named NassJamesGoodLooking that vandalize Marian Rivera and also me. THANKS!!! Unknownquinones (talk) 12:31, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

?? Those two socks are already blocked. User:Gerald Gonzalez is the puppet master. See also Category:Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_Gerald_Gonzalez --NrDg 13:50, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, NrDg, that sock puppetry case creates multiple accounts. The names are: user:Carisilm2004, user:Ginacarmen, user:Gerald Gonzalez, user:Aiza00, user:SBTVCAL, and User:Tomsbrand™. That user also vandalizes Marian Rivera. Please, help me edit those users and must all users that I given are sock puppet. THANKS!!! Unknownquinones (talk) 02:14, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

user:Carisilm2004, user:Ginacarmen, User:Tomsbrand™ and user:SBTVCAL (along with about 40 more) have already been blocked as socks of blocked user:Gerald Gonzalez or user:Aiza00. The proper notices are on the user pages and the talk pages redirect to the user page. It is unnecessary to edit those pages any more. I would be interested in new socks, not ones we have already identified and blocked. There is nothing more that can be done with the blocked accounts. --NrDg 03:02, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
If you want to protect your user page request the protect at WP:RPP or ask me. The protect template just adds the lock icon and does not protect the page. --NrDg 03:07, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Gerald Gonzales has also a YouTube account but I have also listed NassJamesGoodLooking (Gerald Gonzales) in my haters list in unknownquinones channel. The bad news is: my account is suspended. My scheduled date for listing all haters list is unknown. After my suspension, I am now moved to BACKUPunknownquinone for safe. If you want to report the violations of Gerald in YouTube, please, register. If you have already an account, please log in, and then, go to NassJamesGoodLooking and report the image profile violation and also background graphic. Don't forget to flag all of his videos and rate also 1-star rating each of his videos. THANKS!!! Unknownquinones (talk) 14:05, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
And don't forget that he sent me hate mail in Youtube regarding my edits here... Blake Gripling (talk) 00:25, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Headstrong

The article was filled with fake references and fake positons the editor who did that was blocked for not responding to edits and submitting fake references and text even soemtimes the user who is by the way dienaked, reverted and posted non free images not to mention reverting most of the brenda song article and posting more fake references. In that result dienaked was blocked. That user received several warnings about that article. I have discussed this with other admins and that resulted to a block towards dienaked. And now fans are reverting the edits because they think it is not fair. Well hiw about reveiving the article first. It took me 2 hours for reveiving and over 30 mintutes for removing false references and fake chart postions not too mention 3 kiloybytes of trivia and fake sales. Most of the references were from fansites or forums which is not exceptable. Dienaked was blocked in that result. I am not a Brenda Song fan that is categorizing a trusted user as a strategy. Fotesh is now accusing me of being a vandellism user, he or she does not know why and seems to stick to the conspiracy theories made by Dienaked. I doubt that Dienaked is not connected with Fotesh. I have warned several admins on wikipedia about this and after that they blocked Dienaked. I have removed the text that was trivia, fake or fan based from the article with reasons given in the history page while Fotesh just reverting my edit with no reasons and started accusing me of being a crazy brenda song fan rekated with some ip address when my real ip is 81.155.226.185 and here is proof. [5]

Have you even considered looking at the references posted in the old revision. They were all forums and fansites, and some of them were in different languages i translated the brazil newspaper it does not even mention headstrong's sales. They are fake and the user was blocked. Some of the text was just downright fake claiming that the album sold over 1 million and adding a fansite reference as a source. And then adding a billboard best album award reference. And the international sales links were forums in some areas and they did not even mention the album's sales/ And in soem cases we had refereneces that did not say anything about the album or included any thing about it. Dienaked though he could get away with posting fake references. And the critical reception was very fan based. Some of the reviews were made by fans and had several typos and they were not referenced and that is why we removed them and then we had about two referneced that stayed. I doubt that this user isnt Dienaked sinc ethe spelling errors, timing and opinions are exaclty the same. IntoCreativeJan (talk) 08:59, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

People seem to think I'm an admin

There's a mess over at Headstrong (album), and it started spilling onto my talk page (probably because of my vandalism reversions). IntoCreativeJan seems to have put his side of the fight on your page, both sides are over on mine. I've got my hands full these days trying to keep arbcom from topic banning me from all articles related to artistic works, so I'm not going to wade into this. Kww (talk) 13:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

I am not putting my side, Dienaked and Fotesh are connected and Dienaked was blocked for reverting my edits, submitting fake references and text and then removing large amounts of text without any reason and now his so - called sister is defending him and reverting my edits. Dienaked was blocked for doing that, he/she was vandellising and submitting fake references and text not to mention uploading non free images for that article. The images that were non free are now set for deletion. There arent any sides this is a matter of vandellism and inaccuracy made in that article. The article is now fine not a mess. I made sure that everything is accurate well nearly everything. The Brazil one about sales may not be accurate. But the reast is very accurate. That issue was not the only problem because Dienaked also submitting befor ebeing blocked a fansite link in the external link and i am quite surprised that users can get away with doing all of that and still get defended or may be sockpuppets there is a high possibility that Dienaked and Fotesh are sockpuppets or may be just relaitives like what Fotesh claims. IntoCreativeJan (talk) 2:59, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Your you speak of placing infomarción fake but if seizure to write things of your Brenda you place information of false charts of other artitas ... please your only act for envy ... you eat in the life have worried about this article and now because my brother erased these false charts that your you placed in brenda's page, you entered the contributions of to erase only because you did not support that he was erasing anything of your Brenda. you are a very slightly objective person. Fotesh (talk) 10:09, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

I did not erease the history dates they were repeated in a seperate sections, the teplate has broken links and had other songs which was not needed and that image was exactly the same target is not a internation publication or country which made is very illusive and your brothers edits were vandellism and i did not place anything ob brenda's that style was not ahsley's style it was a worlwide template style not by your brother. And discussion is over. If you revert my edits again, it may lead to another block. I have discussed this with other admins. the discussion is over revetring my work will be vandellism and would result to a block. THis is your final warning.IntoCreativeJan (talk) 3:43, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Can you block these two?

Sorry if I posted at the wrong section, but these users User:167.128.156.40, User:65.37.50.185, which I think is coming from a single person or group (based on their editing style and/or pattern), are being warned several times for vandalizing pages such as Strawberry Shortcake, VeggieTales and other related articles. They have been blocked a couple of times but they haven't learned from their mistakes and is still monkeying around... Any thoughts on this? God Bless and have a nice day... Blake Gripling (talk) 01:22, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

User:167.128.156.40 schoolblock as immediate resumption after last block expired. User:65.37.50.185 has not edited past final warning and has not been blocked before. --NrDg 03:11, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
