Would it help if we all shouted a bit louder?[edit]

Not being a taxonomist and not having followed developments particularly closely (I actually had forgotten about Notoptera), I would appreciate it if you could in some non-offensive way describe a little more cogently than in your handle, why you think Notoptera not to be an order in order? And what about it makes it such a heinous view? After a bit more DNA work the cladistics should clarify relationships till it all comes out in the wash, no matter how passionately folks shout at each other for the present. By way of illustrative comparison how do you feel about say, the modern views on the "order" Blattodea? JonRichfield (talk) 19:13, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
