E-Fed[edit]

It sounds like an E-Fed to me. The article of the person is non-notable itself and the promotions seem highly un-notable. When I get the chance tomorrow, I will review it to a more full extent. But this looks AFD nominations. — The King of Kings 04:21, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This looks like an E-Fed alright. I am going to nominate it and its other articles for deletion under the criteria of non-notable. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. — The King of Kings 03:18, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have placed all 3: the championship, the wrestler and the promotion on AFD. Cheers! — The King of Kings 03:42, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Your welcome ;-) *Moe looks at clock and sees its 3:30 a.m.* I gotta go. Later! — The King of Kings 07:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Normy[edit]

No, not exactly, but school is very 'loose' at the moment because I've pretty much learnt everything I need to learn until I start college next year. I mean, some people from my brother's college thought that spouse was pronounced 'spoose', and was a female moose. I have nothing to worry about. Have you ever seen The Producers? It's a fantastic film. Sergeant Snopake 20:57, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you back from your three day shoot yet? That's why I'm leaning towards writing, I'm not sure I could live that kind of lifestyle. How didi it go? Sergeant Snopake 10:02, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, good job! It sounds like you're really making a go of it. I have only ever acted on stage, but I've been in the paper a few times. As a writer, primarily book-writing, but I'd like to try my hand at script-writing etc, too. Hey, if they do give you a go, tell me and I will start watching Neighbours! Sergeant Snopake 18:13, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, 'fraid not. Interesting to see that you're 5'06. In my experience, I've found that Australians are almost always very tall. Sergeant Snopake 11:36, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am 4'11 and 6 stone 8 pounds last time I weighed myself, which was yesterday. Not sure how much that is in kg (I hate metric!), but I'll try to find out. Sergeant Snopake 11:41, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
6 stone 8 pounds = 41.730 498 04 kilogram. Sergeant Snopake 11:44, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, 4'07. That explains everything. You must be very skinny. Sergeant Snopake 11:55, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Feeding my cat. ;) Sergeant Snopake 11:58, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ha! Well, there you go. My cat's being really picky about his food at the moment. Sergeant Snopake 12:01, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My cat only ever wants to eat human food. Beagles look cute, but you can't (apparently) trust them with other pets, like cats or birds etc. Sergeant Snopake 12:06, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, it's cleaning day at my house, so I've got to go and get dressed (and then, obviously, clean). Speak to you later! Sergeant Snopake 12:10, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SummerSlam[edit]

Stop changing the format of the SummerSlam articles. — The King of Kings 12:28 June 24 '06

Sorry about my tone earlier, I wasn't feeling all that great. No problem, just I would like to finish before people go and change the format. ;-) Maybe I should have left the underconstruction tag up? Oh well, anyways, no problem. I'm actually thinking about writing a new format myself. Its very similar though. — The King of Kings 01:54 June 25 '06
I think the only one I'm completly done writing it 1988, 2006 and 2007 SummerSlam, so feel free. The others I'm probably going to keep/readd the tag. — The King of Kings 02:05 June 25 '06

Re: Esperanza[edit]

When someone joins Esperanza, which currently has over 500 members, they're not asked to help the community in any specific way. The only thing we ask is for members to behave in a civil manner towards other editors. Helping the community would be already accomplished by joining Esperanza - you're widening the Esperanza group in hope "that a segment of the Wikipedia community will never again break away from the community". Other ways you could help the community would be talking to users who are upset or have high Wikistress, trying to make them feel better again, or helping out with any of these programs which Esperanza runs. Remember, as a member the only thing you are asked to do is to stay civil – all other things like helping out with the programs are purely optional. It would be great if you could help out with them in some way, but nobody is made to if they don't want to. I hope this has answered your question. — FireFox 10:21, 25 June '06

No problem. — FireFox 11:12, 25 June '06

AFL Drafts[edit]

Hey mate,

I noticed that you do alot of work on the AFL drafts, thanks heaps for that (give you a barnster if you remind me :P).

I was wondering were you find you information from, as the full draft lists on the AFL website only go back to 2001.

Jasrocks (talk) 11:08, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK I will (put this on ur userpage where everyone can see it!)

Reply[edit]

Ah, I thought I saw that IP from somewhere before. He's the one who left me messages on my user page right before I left one time. Hmm.. another IP, wonder how many he has? :\ Yes, he probably should be blocked, but I don't think IP addresses are blocked permanently unless under extreme circumstances. I have reported the IP to someone to see what they can do. The SummerSlam project is doing fine. I think I could get a few more done today. I already got 1988 - 1992 finished and I think I could get up to 1995 today! :-D Cheers! — The King of Kings 21:51 June 26 '06

His old IP isn't banned, just blocked, for now, until he decides to either not to harrass me, or make positive contributions to the project. Doubt he'll be the next Willy though :-) If you would like to help, feel free, but I might go behind your work (sorry, not an insult, just being careful :D) — The King of Kings 01:31 June 27 '06

Re: Mark Williams[edit]

IF you want to mention Williams reaction post game, then I think it should mention why, how and what (ie "Alan Scott you were wrong"), not just that he was animated. But does it belong on the main AFL page as a defining moment of the 2004 season? I don't think so. Does it belong on the Mark Williams, Port Power, Alan Scott and 2004 season pages? Almost certainly.

Re: Sirus[edit]

It's quite hard for me to find someone who understands a specific topic... anyway, I deleted the article as it had no claim of notability or verifiability. — FireFox 11:00, 01 July '06

re:Promotion[edit]

  • Step 1: Be Bold
  • Step 2: Think about his username for a second. If I typed my username as "HBK Shawn Michaels", does that mean I'm him? No, as far as you know, he's just another editor with a name that mimicks the promoter.
  • Step 3: Tell him about it. ;-) Although it might be negative publicity, whether he is the promotor or not, it maintains a NPOV for an encyclopedia and it's accurate, then keep it. If he removes it, its vandalism.

So theres no need to be intimidated. There is nothing that can be done to you for reverting vandalism. — The King of Kings 06:45 July 05 '06

Response to editing[edit]

Hello,

You certainly should not find the editing of TWE’s wikipedia page intimidating. I certainly welcome your edits and thank you for taking the time to constantly update our page.

However, I am not comfortable with the posting of information, be true or not, which is not intended for the public.

I certainly hope you can understand my comments from my perspective.

Kind Regards, Steven Pullen

  • Normy, in case you didn't already know - this guy is one of the biggest phoney's on the local wrestling scene. What you put on the TWE page (before it was removed by Wikipedia) was news. If the guy ever contacts you, ignore him.

Thanks![edit]

Thanks for the Barnstar, man! Much appreciated. 'Bout time someone recognized me! :) .. and yes, the Archive's where I get the info from.

Thanks again -- FPAtl (holla) 02:12, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From 3 Brands[edit]

Thanks. This will be my only non-page related contact with you. I'm not going to inflict a conflict with you and Moe. I may think your little s**ts, but what really matters is that we are all Wrestling Fans. I have learnt a lot from our past dealings, as I hope you have, but what is in the past, is past, we have the oppotunity to build a brighter future, together.

Nothing I load is a lie, I am trying to supply the latest and most correct information possible. Yes, I will make mistakes, but that is where I hope you can step in, and correct me. In my "suspension", I have studied up on all the rules, and talked to a lot of Administrators, to improve my behavior, and tolerence. Wrestling is why we are all here (not the sole but how we met), Wrestling is all that matters. Together, we can build, the greatest area in Wiki History.

Good night, Sleep Tight, God Speed.

FIFA 06[edit]

I noticed the sentence "FIFA 06 was the thirteenth game in the FIFA Series and the seventh in 3D." in the above article and on looking through the history believe it was you that first included it. If so may I ask where you got it from or how it was worked out. That would make FIFA 2000 the first game in the FIFA series (ignoring Euro & World Cup games) to be in 3D. Yet I'm sure FIFA 99 was in 3D as well (and possibly earlier games too). Thanks. Alexj2002 17:10, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article FIFA Series states that FIFA 96 used 2D sprites whilst FIFA 97 used crude polygonal models. Therefore I'm going to say that FIFA 97 was the first 3D game and therefore FIFA 06 becomes the tenth game in the FIFA Series to be in 3D. I've updated the FIFA 06 article accordingly. Thanks. WrestleMania X8[edit]

Could you please help summarize this [1]? I keep telling him it's full of grammar errors, weasel words, and peacock terms, yet he still keeps adding it. If you could help me summarize the match to be consistent with other matches in the article I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.--3bulletproof16 21:38, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TheTruth2 has been reported. If you would like to leave a comment concerning the situation please do so here. I find it strange that when he is referred to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling show formatting or any other guideline for that matter, he claims that he has already read them and that his edits "still follows the guidelines". Signed up just 3 days ago... Yep TJ Spyke and I are dealing with a troll here.--3bulletproof16 22:02, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Everything seems OK now, but just in case anything goes wrong I think it might be a good idea to keep the page on your watchlist for now. Thanks a lot Normy132 --3bulletproof16 18:17, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A-League 2006-07 Newsletter I[edit]

Introduction
The first ever Wikiproject A-League newsletter is here! The 2006-07 A-League season will bring the usual enjoyment and fanaticism that only football/soccer can create. This new season also means a lot of (currently-open) tasks that require completion throughout the course of the next 21 weeks.
Position Ladder
A Position Ladder will be placed on each team page, which will provide an up-to-date visualization of the current A-League standings. However, problems may occur when Position Ladders aren't updated with the new statistics that don't involve matches of the team whose page the Position Ladder resides on. To remedy this, a base Position Ladder will be created, which will be located at {{2006-07 A-League Position Ladder}} (link). Please update this as soon as possible after the match has ended, as this will keep the Wikipedia community informed.

A few notes regarding the base Position Ladder:-

  • Please do not substitute the Position Ladder template on the team pages, as it won’t get automatically updated if you do.
  • Please only update the Position Ladder at the end of a match, and if there is any large dispute about the result, do not add it, but instead wait for an official report by the A-League confirming the result.
  • When updating, make sure to adjust all of the below fields:-
    • The played field – add one (eg. 13→14 etc.)
    • Either the win, loss or draw field, depending on the result for that team.
    • The points field – either add 3 points (win), 1 point (draw) or leave the same (loss)
    • The for and the against section
    • Make sure you repeat this process for both teams – not just the team you follow!
Summary Tables
Each team page will have a Summary Table added to it, which will provide an at-a-glance look at the results of the team throughout the season. We ask that, at every chance you get, you fill in the results of these Summary Tables – it only takes a few seconds, but it will help keep the uninformed "in the loop" – it is an encyclopedia we’re writing, after all.

As with the Position Ladders, a few notes about the Summary Tables:-

  • Please place the winner in bold text (using '''winning team''').
  • With the crowd figures, please only place a comma if the attendance is over 10,000 people (eg. use 8648 instead of 8,468 and 11,482 instead of 11482).

August Esperanza Newsletter[edit]

Program Feature: To-Do List
The Esperanza To-Do List is a place where you may list any request, big or small, for assistance. If you need help with archiving your usertalk, for example, all you need to do is list it here and somebody will help you out. Likewise, if you need help with some area of editing on Wikipedia, list it here! Again, any matter, trivial or not, can be placed on this page. However, all matters listed on this page must not be of an argumentative nature. You do not need to be a member of Esperanza (or this program) to place or fulfill requests on this page. If you don't have any requests, consider coming by and fulfilling a few! This program has not been very active, but has lots of potential!
What's New?
In order to help proposed programs become specific enough to make into full-fledged programs, the In development section of the proposals page has been created. Proposals that are promising, but need to be organized in more detail are listed here. Please take a look at what is there, and help the proposals turn into programs.
To improve both the layout and text of the front page, in an attempt to clarify the image of Esperanza, the front page is going to have some redesigning take place. Please take your creative minds to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Front page redesign to brainstorm good ideas.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
  1. In order to make sure all users who join Esperanza are welcomed, a list of volunteers who are willing to welcome new Esperanzians is at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Members#Esperanza_welcomers. Please add yourself if you are interested; we want to make sure all new Esperanza members are welcomed!
  2. The In development section of the proposals page has been created.
  3. Proposals page: Some proposals have been moved to the aforementioned "In development" section, some have been left as a proposal, and others have been archived. For those proposals that were a good idea but didn't necessarily constitute a program, General Esperanzial Actions has been created.
  4. Two small pieces of charter reform will be decided on in a straw poll at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza/Governance. One involves filling the position of any councillors who may leave, the other involves reforming the charter.
  5. Until cooperation with the Kindness Campaign is better defined, it remains as a proposed program.
  6. There is a page for discussing the front page redesign.

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

Do you have any source for this being on PPV? I've never seen any website mention this being on PPV. TJ Spyke 03:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A-League Newsletter II, 2006[edit]

WikiProject A-League Newsletter
Issue II – September 2006
Current Player project status
10% complete
A-League News

Project News
  • The Player project has been moved, overhauled and refined. It now is not limited to the 2005-06 player list. However, only 10% of articles are considered "complete", and hopefully we can get this figure to approach 100% by the end of the season.
  • Major changes to the layout of the 2006-07 A-League season page have taken place recently, and an infobox created. A table for attendances, as well as top scorer etc. are now in place. All users are encouraged to update the scores for completed matches as they come in.
  • Recently, Perth Glory F.C. was moved to Perth Glory FC after no objections were raised at the Wikiproject talk page. All links to the old page (including various templates) were changed.
  • The project requires pictures of games and stadiums to help improve articles. Any pictures are much appreciated.
  • The A-League Portal has been set up. Feel free to update the scores, and make sure you check out the selected article and picture each fortnight.
  • The football (soccer) barnstar has recently became the official award of the Wikiproject. Feel free to hand it out to anyone you see making excellent contributions to all things A-League related.

Accusations of Sock Puppetry[edit]

User:3 Brands has retired from Wiki-editing. I have been in contact with him and he says he's fed up with the nazi-style running of Wikipedia. I decided to pick up where he left off, and if you look at my contributions, you will see there is nothing wrong wit them. I am not User:3 Brands, and I have only talked to him once, and we are not friends. I only want to continue the great work he has done for the Wrestling Pages. From Not JBL 10:27, 23 September 2006 (AEST)

So I liked it and copied it! So what! I know where Brands went and I'm following his lead. If you don't beleive him ask him ur self. If memory serves me correctly, Brands copied that heading from another user!
