Speedy deletion nomination of Music Nepal[edit]

Hello Nirmaljoshi,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Music Nepal for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Music Nepal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Music Nepal. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. @Onel5969:- Hi. I think you posted to my talk page by some system bug. The article Music Nepal is created now with well credited sources and passes WP:GNG as discussed in the talk page. If more improvements can be done, lets talk at the article's talk page. Regards! nirmal (talk) 00:26, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nirmaljoshi, hi. No, it wasn't a system bug. You created a page which had been deleted through an AfD discussion. I can't see the page was deleted, so I simply tag it, and then an admin takes a look at the deleted page. If it is substantially the same, they delete it. In this case, Barkeep49 took a look, and it is not substantially the same, so they removed the tag. This happens, and it is simply a procedural thing. I did not evaluate it on a notability basis, so it is still in the queue to be reviewed. I hope that explains it a bit. Onel5969 TT me 02:09, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Onel5969:- I see. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Have a good day! nirmal (talk) 03:12, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Nirmaljoshi. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of cement manufactures in Nepal".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 19:56, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Goldstar shoes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Deletion of Hindi profanity page[edit]

I made the Hindi profanity page after I was inspired to make one from Finnish profanity page. I was wondering if the Finnish profanity page should also be deleted. I would love to talk with you.

--AbhigyaDahal (talk) 13:14, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@AbhigyaDahal: Please do not take it personally. I do not have any problem with the article. But all the sources are weak making the whole article prone to deletion. Please make it stronger so that other editor will not nominate it for speedy deletion. I found one paper here that may be helpful to extend your article on Hindi profanity. Ways to improve Andhimul Temple[edit]

Hello, Nirmaljoshi,

Thank you for creating Andhimul Temple.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Convert Nepali panchang dates to standard English dates, gregorian times.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Whiteguru (talk) 04:59, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Whiteguru: Thanks for tagging the article. With the given references where the dates are mentioned in Bikram Sambat, I cannot calculate the exact Gregorian dates because it could be off by 1 year depending upon the month. Once other references are found with exact dates, we can fix the date issue. You can start a conversation in the article's Talk page to attract more editors who can help on this matter. nirmal (talk) 08:25, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Nirmaljoshi: Are you able to clarify which panchang you are using? --Whiteguru (talk) 08:50, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Whiteguru:- Its not panchanga exactly. Its Bikram Sambat. nirmal (talk) 08:52, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Nirmaljoshi: Thanks; I will take a look. --Whiteguru (talk) 08:55, 4 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I came to talk about BS, so I'll just put it here. Nirmal ji, when AD dates are not available, you can use BS, provided you link the first instance of BS (but don't link every instance of it), and provide, for every date in BS, in parenthesis, the best known conversion in AD/CE. For example, do this: UTBC leaves a message in 2078 BS (2021–22 AD), having previously done so in 2077 BS (2020–21 AD).
I have in the past used footnotes to explain the dates when I thought that would be clearer. For example, 16 Bhadra 2078 BS (August–September 2021 AD)[a]

Notes

  1. ^ A Bikram Sambat year begins mid-April. So, 16 Bhadra would either be the last days of August or the first days of September.

Hi I’m a new page patroller and I’ve just reviewed this article which you passed. The links in the references section are all just locations on Google maps and the external links are a post office listing and a police database. There isn’t a single reliable independent source for a single statement in the article. I’m really not sure why you passed it but I’m sending it back to draft as it is nowhere near ready for mainspace. All the best Mccapra (talk) 05:19, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled granted[edit]

Hi Nirmaljoshi, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help).
