License tagging for Image:Newrenlogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Newrenlogo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Self-interest + welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Nico2001, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

It might be worth your time to slow down on the apparent self-promotion. Wikipedia can get ruthless when it thinks it smells advertising and, to be frank, your contributions to date are somewhat, erm, focused.

Not sure What you mean, but thanks for the welcome[edit]

Thanks for the welcome. As for your last comment, yes I am focused on these three entries as I am a huge fan of BEYOND and that has led me to research the director and his company. When I saw that none of them were on wikipedia, I thought they should be. If I have put anything on these listings that appear to be advertising, please tell me what they are and I will remove them. Or, better yet, please remove them for me.

I thought that this was a wiki-site where we contributed about our interests. These happen to be my interests at the moment.

Thanks.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Newrenlogo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Newrenlogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image copyright problem with Image:SPDOORS4.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SPDOORS4.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Nico2001! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 942 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Steven Rumbelow - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
