Hello, NickBush24, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your question at Wikipedia:Clueless Newbies, and I'm not sure what you mean. Would you mind giving me an example? Anyways, here are some basics to deal with vandalism. If you see clear vandalism, you can revert it by clicking on the "history" tab, clicking on the date and time of the most recent non-vandalised version, then editing that page. (make sure to put something like "rv vandalism" in the edit history) You can report vandalism in progress at WP:VIP, and if a situation requires immediate action, you can report the user/IP at WP:AIV. Status indicator

Hey Nick, I saw your "status indicator" on your userpage; I created two icons for my page the other day; they look like this:

I'm in.

I'm out.

What I did was create a subpage "/Status" then post one, save it with the edit summary "Out", then edit the page, put in the other one and save it with the edit summary "In" that way, when I come & go, I just go to the /Status page and use the "revert" proceedure to change one to the other.

I have it linked via template {{User:Essjay/Status}} on my userpage and talk page, so that it is a semi-automatic change; all I have to do is purge the server cache and it appears. (It's a lot simpler to use the template scheme; it would get old copying one table back and forth.) You can use a link like this: Purge Server Cache on your page to make sort work of it: change the /Stauts page, click purge on your user page, click purge on your talk page, and out you go!

I heard you just suicided ALL 536+ accounts. You didn't have to do that. You were one of the most popular users on GameFAQs. I know life is challenging but you could still have Gamefaqs as a part of it. GameFAQs is my only social venture as well but it doesn't ruin my life. I'm sure CE would love to have you back. Maybe all you need is break! So yeah, rearrange your life. If you could keep track of all 536 accounts I'm sure you could get yourself back together. Maybe in a few months, you could come back. 1939 NCAA Tourney

Just for the record, there really were eight games played in the 1939 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament: the seven ordinary single-elimination games, plus a regional third place match in one region and not the other. Akron Garfield

Nick I don't know how to enter it. But, the State title information is not correct. South High School was closed in 1980 and the 400 to 500 students still attending South were sent to several high schools around Akron and not just Garfield. The APS website I listed will verify it not a consolidation as claim in the Garfield information. South City and State titles still belong to South and are not part of Garfield or any other school. The OSHAA site doesn't list Akron Garfield as state champion for Cross Country in 1939. If, that were true like whomever has posted this. Then why not include South track field state titles? This is case of Garfield alum or student so desparate to give Garfield a State title, they're trying to take one from South High which closed in 1980. RE: new to wikipedia and need some guidance

Good Morning,

I am the community relations associate for this particular agency and our agency is concerned that the only documentation on this current wiki page is in regards to inflammatory media articles which were politically charged. If it cannot be removed how do we at the very least balance this out. We are trying to add factual historical agency information that is not a copyright violation because it is information that we publish both in print and on our site. What do I need to do in order to address our Administration's concern that this particular page is negatively skewed and needs revision. I started doing some research and submitted a help request as well but, after reading some information on your site I realized I am not following the appropriate protocol with editing and I don't want to do something wrong.
