Speedy deletion nomination of 2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria[edit]

Hello Nice4What,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, 2018 coalition military action against Syria.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

SamHolt6 (talk) 01:34, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 2018 coalition military action against Syria. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2018 coalition military action against Syria. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. —C.Fred (talk) 01:56, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation on how its innapropriate? Seems very unfair, no POV push going and there is no "coalition". It is not neutral phrasing, it is specualtion for now. Nice4What (talk) 01:59, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There is no need to have two articles on the same subject. The more you edit 2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria, the bigger the mess that needs to be cleaned up in a history merge later on. —C.Fred (talk) 02:00, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Beerbongs & Bentleys[edit]

It does not matter if Post Malone himself posted the alternative cover. Two covers should only be used with a very good reason, and as there is no discernible edition that the other cover has been used for, it should not be there. If you disagree, take it to the talk page. Learn to start discussing things rather than edit warring. WP:BRD, WP:CONSENSUS. Ss112 19:40, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please review Talk:Venom (2018 film) before you edit the page again. It appears that you are starting to engage in another edit war—and worse, it looks like this is a situation where you are clearly editing against consensus. —C.Fred (talk) 00:36, 30 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018 in hip hop music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Offset (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). RE: Ye's recording[edit]

Hey any reason why the recording date on the Ye is being kept at only May? 070 Shake was quoted in her Rolling Stone interview saying:

And you finished “Ghost Town” on the day it was released?
Yeah, I finished my final vocals on that same day.

Surely recording should be written as May up to June 1? Ninjinian (talk) 15:24, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Almost certain it meant 31 May, date of the listening party. The album was premiered on that date in Wyoming, doesn't make sense that'd she record something that's already complete. Nice4What (talk) 16:05, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Nice4What. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Upcoming Nas album, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about Upcoming Nas album[edit]

Hello, Nice4What,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Upcoming Nas album should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Upcoming Nas album .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

HiNice4What, I have withdrawn the normination for the above article as album name has been provide and album has been released with supported source. Kindly do not create another article of such and just wait until source is available to support the notability of the article instead wasting so many editors' time on Article for deletion page to discuss the notability of the article. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:22, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Personnel on Kamikaze[edit]

You're adding unsourced info to an article about a living person plus you are ignoring the relevant style guide. Stop. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:00, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea as to what you are talking about. What article about a living person? Also, I did read the style guide and my edits more closely follow it, see ALL OTHER hip-hop album articles made in the past two years. Nice4What (talk) 18:02, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What is the source for these producers? See the talk page. Also, see WP:BRD. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:03, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The source for the production was previously cited, but seems to be removed. Surprise surprise they're also all listed in the track list and the album's infobox Nice4What (talk) 18:07, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Giulianni is not. At BLP, all articles related to living persons are held under that scrutiny. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:08, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

See also WP:3RR. You need to discuss on talk or you will be reported there. Adding unsourced information to a BLP page is a specific exemption of 3RR. See BLP: "This policy applies to any living person mentioned in a BLP, whether or not that person is the subject of the article, and to material about living persons in other articles and on other pages, including talk pages". See also WP:BRD. Don't change something stable because you like it that way. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:10, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may also want to see 3RR, it includes both sides to an edit war. Removed the producer who didn't work on the album also. Nice4What (talk) 18:14, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
3RR has a specific exemption for unsourced material to BLPs. Please post to talk per WP:BRD. ―Justin (koavf)TCM
It looks like you are also malforming sources and including invalid, self-published sources again. Please stop. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:21, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Weird that Tidal is suddenly a self-published source... You're acting ridiculous. Also the styling for WP:Album calls for track numbers, not track titles. My style is most accurate. Nice4What (talk) 18:27, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, it doesn't. See the example: "Mike Yaris – producer (on "Song #1")" which is a fictional song title. And you are just flat wrong that your style is more accurate: that is literally impossible and makes no sense. We don't link to stores if we can avoid it and there is no need to source a track listing from a store, since the source for what is on the album is the album itself. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 19:28, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Tidal is almost always used to get credits for hip-hop albums. That's how we know who produced/wrote each track, and the designated difference between a co and additional producer. Nice4What (talk) 20:40, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tidal is not "our source". I wrote the track listing and I've never seen Tidal in my life. Please familiarize yourself with WP:SOURCE on 1.) what constitutes reliable sources (is Hip Hop DX one?), 2.) first-party and third-party sources, and 3.) reference/citation styles, which you are inserting incorrectly. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:36, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please let me know where writer and producer credits are from. Nice4What (talk) 21:39, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I did now. Why are you inserting the Rolling Stone and CBS News references which make no mention of producers...? You need to take a step back. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:49, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I still don't understand where you got writer/producer credits from. Also, the Rolling Stone and CBS News references are for the track list ORDER, which differs on streaming services. Nice4What (talk) 21:50, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please stop. I applied {{in use}} because I am in the middle of writing this. Stop. I cited Complex and Fader already--you are not even looking at what you are reverting. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:52, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting that they cite Spotify, another streaming service, as their source and that you had to look for those sources AFTER we already adapted them from Tidal. Stop. Tidal is a reliable, direct source. It is literally the digital liner notes. I will revert back to how it originally was and you can bring it to the talk page that you want to use alternative sources for some reason. Tidal has always been used in hip hop articles, and I'm letting you know since you aren't familiar with those types of articles, please yield. Kamikaze is no different than the rest of those articles, stop trying to keep it "your" way. Nice4What (talk) 21:57, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What are you even doing? Now you are re-inserting references that I removed. Why? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 22:44, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you repeatedly insert reference errors? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 23:08, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Mostly accidental Nice4What (talk) 23:08, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming your removal of personnel on Kamikaze was either an unintentional error or vandalism so I used rollback to quickly fix it. Please refer to the liner notes, stop inserting links to stores as sources, and refer to the actual source for the relevant information. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:32, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

September 2018[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Channel Orange, you may be blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 09:51, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Tidal[edit]

As @Koavf: said above, Tidal is a questionable source; it is a streaming music service promoting the album; questionable sources include those that are promotional in nature (WP:QUESTIONABLE). Furthermore, the link you provided renders a "page not found" when attempting to access it. And lastly, don't engage in an edit war when specific changes of yours have been disputed by multiple editors, not just at Channel Orange. It is an indication that your change is controversial, meaning you should start a discussion and obtain consensus before making it again. Dan56 (talk) 10:01, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

One editor having a problem plus one other (you) doesn't make it controversial. It's a shame you are not familiar with Tidal as a source and thus you call it questionable. See Ye (album), Astroworld, Beerbongs & Bentleys, Kids See Ghosts (album), K.T.S.E., Testing (album), Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, No One Ever Really Dies, Revival (Eminem album), etc...
It does make it controversial: "If more than two editors are involved..." (WP:RFCBEFORE) The appearance of content at other articles, whether right or wrong, does not justify its use elsewhere. It's a shame you are not familiar with WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, or the proper way of going about a content dispute. Dan56 (talk) 10:40, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Also, there seems to be multiple links to Channel Orange on Tidal, another link can be provided. Does this or this work? Nice4What (talk) 10:28, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What exactly is this source being used to verify? I don't see any songwriting or producer credits at the link you provided. Dan56 (talk) 10:37, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Wow... Just because you are unfamiliar with a website, it doesn't mean it's unreliable... Especially a music website used for a music article... Anyways, right-click any song or even the album and there will be an option to display Credits. Let me know if that doesn't work :) Nice4What (talk) 10:40, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't work. Right-clicking does not render anything of the sort. My unfamiliarity with the website was not cited as a reason for it's questionable reliability. Dan56 (talk) 10:44, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Here, try this album, Everything is Love. When you hover over a track, three dots will appear by the "plus" and "heart" icons; that's the drop down menu. Click the three dots and "Credits" will appear. Click "Credits" and it will list songwriters, producers, composers, musicians, etc. Also, my point is that you are unfamiliar with Tidal which to me seems to be why you wouldn't want to use it. Take for example @Koavf:, who kept trying his best to remove Tidal from Kamikaze which is funny knowing that Eminem's previous album Revival cites Tidal and that's still where we got the credits (fictional liner notes are still cited). Nice4What (talk) 10:48, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thank you. I used the search engine in that link to find Channel Orange and verify the production credits by hovering..., as you said. It looks very useful, I must admit. My previous point remains, however; other articles are not strong justification for determining what happens in another article. The merits should lie in the source in and of itself, and with an accessible link now provided, it does have merit. Dan56 (talk) 11:00, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not familiar with the liner notes to Kamikaze. But from the looks of your revision, if the citation is framed for "liner notes," or rather it is citing the liner notes, a link to Tidal is inappropriate there. If the link to Tidal is being used to verify the information, then Tidal should be cited as a reference, not the liner notes. Dan56 (talk) 11:07, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you but citing Tidal on that article has been difficult due to edit warring. Tidal is our true source, but right now it says "liner notes" which haven't been released nor confirmed to exist. Thank you for your cooperation though. Nice4What (talk) 11:08, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Dan56: If you want to see the liner notes, you can look at the album (classic way to do it) or check at Discogs. Nice4What evidently believes that we can't cite a book for its own table of contents but need to cite an online bookseller who has a scan of the book. I've explained this to him at Talk:Kamikaze (Eminem album) if want to take a look there. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:29, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Koavf: Why use Discogs over Tidal, are they not both the same as you said? Also, you can't possibly cite the liner notes if they haven't been released yet! Comparing Tidal's metadata to an online bookseller shows you still have no understanding of how editors use Tidal as a source! Nice4What (talk) 16:32, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, they are not both the same--that is exactly why my edits were different. Also, I've explained this many times before but we shouldn't cite a store that is reproducing the original source instead of the original source. Just like how I'm not citing Discogs' scan but the original source (the liner notes). I left in a citation to Tidal until they were available; now that they are there is literally no justification for including a link to a store with incomplete and inaccurate liner notes. I absolutely understand how users cite Tidal and it's wrong. I don't have the time to fix every error on Wikipedia. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:38, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's going to be tough for you to find liner notes on independent streaming albums then... (Ex: Merry Christmas Lil' Mama) Nice4What (talk) 20:08, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, okay. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 10:01, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, you are ignorant: there are liner notes, nothing fictional about them. They also are not identical to what is in Tidal. Plus, Tidal is a store. Please stop adding it as a reference. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:27, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've yet to see a source say they've adapted credits from liner notes, just Spotify/Tidal metadata. Let me know when they come out because otherwise you're just assuming they exist. Also, see all the other album articles I've listed above and search some more on your own time. You are still very unfamiliar with hip hop album articles and that's okay! :) Also, complaining about Tidal being a "store" when you actually linked the Eminem merchandise store previously? That's a pretty sad argument. Nice4What (talk) 16:32, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
"I've yet to see a source say they've adapted credits from liner notes": Me. That is exactly what I did. I sincerely don't know why this so difficult for you to understand but at some point, you just have to stop editing because you do not understand how it works. And evidently, you didn't read what I wrote previously because the liner notes are out and you are willfully ignorant. Re: stores: Eminenm's official webstie can put whatever content they want about the album online, including selling those albums. It's not a third-party seller like Tidal. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:38, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @Dan56: I think the best thing you can do is add a note in the citation, instructing readers how to find the information. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 17:55, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, thanks for informing me about how Tidal publishes inaccurate and incomplete liner notes. I'll be sure to remove it as a source when I see it in the future. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 01:05, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're lame.. and some artists who release streaming albums don't upload liner notes. Don't waste your time removing Tidal, your edits will get reverted and you may as well use a talk page (WP:ALBUM) before you unilaterally decide what you find to be a reliable source. @Chasewc91: It's not fan made, fan cropped, or fan edited. As the description of the uploaded image says, it's pulled from Post Malone's store directly. Bring it to the talk page, that "cropped" album cover has been that way since the album's release. I am also not the original uploader. Nice4What (talk) 21:45, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Open Border - TransTasman.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Open Border - TransTasman.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, Nice4What. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Sicko Mode Remix Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. December 2018[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Everything Is Love shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Notice

The article Mixed Personalities has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:NSONG, did not chart, contains unreliable source(s). See:Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ascribe4 (talk) 06:19, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Mixed Personalities for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mixed Personalities is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mixed Personalities until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ascribe4 (talk) 06:23, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Boo, World's Cutest Dog.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Boo, World's Cutest Dog.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 19:25, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use[edit]

We don't get a free pass on non-free use just because someone (or a dog) has recently passed away. If that person (or dog) was a public figure, there are plenty of opportunities for people to take free images of that subject - or - we can contact relatives (or owners) to supply a free image. If we get to the point where a free image is clearly not available - which in this case would be significantly longer than one day - then we can revisit the issue. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Template:Syrian Civil War infobox. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:10, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a specific reason why you've chosen to change "London, England" to "London, United Kingdom" on the infobox for 21 Savage? The change doesn't appear to be consistent with all the other U.K. artist pages that use "England" as the country. E.g. Adele, Jessie J, Skepta, etc. Limmidy (talk) 08:12, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Accession of Macedonia to NATO; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Request reason:

Edited the page and made two reverts to stay within the bounds of WP:3RR, and then brought the edit warring dispute to talk page. 48 hours seems a bit excessive, especially when removing violations of WP:FAIRUSE. Previous two blocks were because of a dispute on content.
